Rakuten Wallet event brings new opportunities to SHIB enthusiasts

Japanese cryptocurrency giant Rakuten Wallet has released exciting news for Shiba Inu (SHIB) fans. The company plans to prepare a special giveaway event for SHIB holders during the Securities and Investment Academy event held in Fukuoka on September 12. Participants will have the opportunity to receive limited edition physical SHIB commemorative coins.

What are the highlights of the Fukuoka event?

As part of the upcoming event, Rakuten Wallet announced that senior analyst Matsuda will deliver a much-awaited speech. At the same time, the company plans to distribute SHIB physical souvenirs, which were first launched in July this year. These commemorative coins are made of metal materials and are collectibles and do not have any blockchain technology connection.

How to participate in giveaway activities?

The way to participate in this giveaway event is very simple. SHIB holders only need to show a screenshot of the SHIB balance in the Lotte Wallet app. Looking to the future, the company also plans to hold more seminars in Sapporo and Osaka in October, when these commemorative coins will also be distributed.

Lotte Wallet first launched these physical tokens in July this year. These commemorative coins are made using a unique surface sandblasting process and serve as physical symbols of digital assets, but are not investment tools or blockchain products.

Why does SHIB support continue to grow?

Since adding SHIB to its platform in April, Rakuten Wallet has significantly enhanced its support for this digital asset. This move allows millions of people in Japan to exchange Rakuten points for SHIB, while also using Rakuten Pay to make payments using SHIB in 5 million consumer locations across the country.

In June this year, the company released content for SHIB, and launched a special video called "Getting to Know SHIB", with senior analyst Matsuda providing professional insights. The video was released shortly after the SHIB transaction was launched on the platform.

Lotte Wallet has increased user engagement by integrating SHIB into daily trading tools. The seminars planned to be held in multiple cities also demonstrate the company's determination to expand SHIB's influence in Japan.

The current cryptocurrency market as a whole is still under pressure, especially altcoins. Although Bitcoin remains dominant, many tokens have given up some of their recent gains. The current altcoin seasonal index is 33, indicating that the market is still focused on Bitcoin, which places constraints on other tokens such as SHIB.
