A widening gap

The battle for dominance of the Solana miniin launch pad is becoming increasingly one-sided

According to DefiLlama, in the past 30 days,@Pumpfun has generated US$31.5 million in agreement revenue, compared with approximately US$192,000 for the BONK ecosystem. The difference between the two is about 165 times, and there is little sign of reversing this trend.

Behind these numbers is continued dominance.

In 2025, Pump.fun's total agreed revenue will reach US$971.37 million, while according to DefiLlama's data, its annualized revenue will be approximately US$320 million as of 2026. Even if growth slows, this revenue level still leaves competitors far behind.

The rise and decline of BONK

The situation has not always been so clear.

@bonk_inu's agreement generated nearly US$50 million in total revenue in a single quarter last year, but then shrank sharply to US$2.2 million in the last quarter; while Pump.fun's quarterly revenue remained above US$200 million during the same period. The BONK launch pad, operated under the LetsBONK brand, once threatened the status of Pump.fun

In July 2025, LetsBONK's share of the Solana launch pad market soared from 13% to more than 78% in one month, briefly surpassing previous market leaders.

But this highlight moment is fleeting.

As the platform failed to maintain its catch-up momentum with more innovative competitors, its market share quickly fell back to its lowest level. BONK.fun's share of the Solana launch pad market dropped from 84% in mid-2025 to approximately 7% at the end of the year, and revenue also fell simultaneously, reaching only US$84,000 by the end of 2025.

Pump.fun quickly took action to regain lost ground.

Pump.fun responded by launching new user incentives and regained more than 70% of its market share by February 2026. Since then, the BONK ecosystem has struggled to recover.

Jupiter's data shows that LetsBonk's 30-day transaction volume in the launch pad sector has dropped to fourth place, with only US$159 million in platform transactions.

For now, competition in the Solana launch pad space is almost a foregone conclusion from a revenue perspective. Whether new challengers will emerge or whether the BONK ecosystem can restart and change this situation remains unknown. But the gap created by @Pumpfun makes any counter-overtaking extremely difficult.
