XRP's average trading volume exceeds all major cryptocurrencies, Evernorth increases financial bets

The average transaction size of XRP reaches US$85,000, and institutional demand has increased significantly.

XRP is showing a clear signal that institutional adoption continues to deepen. According to market analyst Xaif Crypto, the average transaction amount on the XRP ledger has reached US$85,290, far ahead among the top ten cryptocurrencies. In comparison, a single Bitcoin transaction averages about $10,600, while Ethereum is close to $2,930.

Unlike transaction volume, the average transaction size measures the amount of value transferred by each payment on the chain. When this figure climbs to this high, it usually means large capital flows rather than increased retail activity.

Such large transfers are often associated with institutional participants, such as asset management companies, exchanges, payment service providers, custodians, over-the-counter trading platforms, and corporate finance departments. These institutions often transfer large amounts of funds for settlement, liquidity management, portfolio rebalancing and custody needs, so high-value transactions have become a powerful indicator of institutional use.

However, this does not mean that XRP handles more transactions than Bitcoin or Ethereum. Instead, it suggests that the value of each transaction settled in the XRP ledger is significantly greater-a difference that typically reflects enterprise-level applications and real financial activity rather than speculative transactions.

It is worth noting that this trend coincides with the continued acceleration of institutional momentum for XRP.

Evernorth is one step closer to becoming the largest public XRP finance company

Evernorth Holdings recently filed Amendment No. 5 to its S-4 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission, one step closer to completing its SPAC merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. If approved, the combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol XRPN.

The document also highlights Evernorth's long-term strategy. Chief Legal Officer Jessica Jonas will receive a basic salary of US$400,000, a 50% target bonus and US$4.5 million in restricted stock units; Chief Commercial Officer Sagar Shah and Chief Operating Officer Megumi Nakamura will receive a basic salary of US$300,000, a 50% target bonus and US$2.8 million in restricted stock units respectively.

This equity-based compensation structure links executive incentives to long-term shareholder value and strengthens Evernorth's ambition to become the largest publicly traded XRP finance company. Similar to Bitcoin Finance, the company plans to accumulate XRP as a strategic balance sheet asset rather than actively trading it, a move that could reduce the circulation supply while giving traditional investors indirect access to XRP.

Institutional needs are equally obvious along the chain. Binance recorded the highest exchange outflow for XRP, while the U.S. spot XRP ETF has attracted net inflows of more than US$1.5 billion since its launch. Historically, large exchange outflows suggest that investors are moving assets into private custody rather than leaving them on exchanges for sale, tightening available supply.

More importantly, these developments point to the same conclusion: record-high transaction values, growing ETF inflows, unprecedented exchange outflows, and Evernorth's financial strategy all suggest that XRP's institutional engagement is accelerating.

What happens next? The convergence of these trends strengthens the judgment that XRP is evolving from a speculative tool to a preferred network for large-scale capital transfers and is increasingly becoming an important bridge between traditional finance and digital assets.
