BitMine's strategic layout in Ethereum expansion

BitMine Immersion Technologies recently increased its total Ethereum holdings to 5,797,813 by acquiring 10,399 ETH units, further expanding its Ethereum investment portfolio. This increase accounts for 4.8% of Ethereum's current total supply (approximately 120.7 million units). At the same time, BitMine completed the repurchase of 4.5 million shares as part of its $4 billion stock repurchase plan, demonstrating its strategic layout in the digital asset space.

Can continued holdings affect market sentiment?

BitMine maintains the pace of increasing its holdings in Ethereum every week and continues to consolidate its positions. Although the overall market faces challenges, including unrealized cryptocurrency losses, BitMine's persistence reflects its determination to invest in the long term. Even with a paper loss of approximately US$8.8 billion, the company's strategy remains unchanged, hoping for a future market rebound and stability. DropsTab data shows that BitMine, which is traded under the BMNR code on Nasdaq, is suffering large market-related losses, but this situation is dynamic and valuations fluctuate with market trends.

Why focus on pledges and related benefits?

BitMine uses most of its Ethereum for pledge strategies. Currently, 4,917,189 ETH pieces have been pledged, worth approximately US$9.2 billion, and its pledged annualized income is said to have reached US$247 million. Such moves not only strengthen BitMine's asset base, but also provide a stable source of revenue, although revenue still depends on pledge rates and market conditions. This strategy allows BitMine to earn ETH-based rewards while retaining Ethereum reserves. Converting these rewards into fiat currency will still be affected by large fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market.

BitMine expanded its Ethereum position to approximately 5.8 million ETH units. The company's share of Ethereum supply rose to 4.8%. BMNR reported an unrealized loss of $8.8 billion related to Ethereum. About $9.2 billion of ETH was used for pledge activities. Following recent Ethereum acquisition and share repurchase news, BMNR shares rose slightly to close at $17.34, a slight increase of 0.38%. The increase reflects market optimism about BitMine's strategic decisions and the actual impact of its Ethereum business.
