Although price movements are closely watched, activity within the Hedera ecosystem is also expanding. Hedera, known for its enterprise-level public network that uses a hashmap consensus mechanism, has recently strengthened its focus on community participation.
In its latest community update, Hedera shared news of increased activities in countries including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil and Spain, and launched the next phase of the Ambassador Program. Upcoming expansion targets include North America and Africa, such as the United States, Canada, Nigeria and Kenya.
The Ambassador Hedera program aims to empower developers, community leaders and advocates by providing educational resources, content creation opportunities, event organization, and ecosystem growth initiatives. The program is currently active in North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
It is reported that in the first quarter of 2026, Ambassador Hedera held local meetings in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, reportedly bringing more than 200 new members to the community. The network also continues to attract new partners, with WISeKey becoming a strategic partner and SpaceDev becoming a new community partner to expand Hedera's influence in Latin America.
