Binance Futures expands its tokenized traditional financial product portfolio and launches SpaceX stock perpetual contract

Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it has welcomed a new member in its tokenized traditional financial product portfolio-SPCXUSD1 perpetual contract settled on US dollar margin. The contract tracks the performance of Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) shares under the trading symbol SPCX. Binance is blurring the line between the stock market and digital assets by launching products that track stocks of well-known companies.

Listing Details and Contract Characteristics

SPCXUSD1 Perpetual Contract will begin trading at 09:00 (UTC) on July 20, 2026. Settlement will use the Binance standardized futures settlement token USD1, providing cryptocurrency traders with a new way to participate in the tokenized stock market.

This contract supports round-the-clock trading, with a minimum order quantity of 0.01 SPCX and a minimum nominal value of 1 US dollar. The minimum change price is set at 0.01, which is consistent with the standard trading increment.

Eligible users can use leverage of up to 25 times. In addition, Binance will also provide a multi-asset model that allows traders to use multiple backed collateral assets in their positions, rather than being limited to a single settlement asset.

Financing fees for these contracts are charged every eight hours, with financing rates capped at +1.00% to-1.00%. According to Binance announcement, the interest rate of this product is zero.

Users trading SPCXUSD1 perpetual contracts can enjoy a maximum leverage of 25 times, the financing rate is limited to ±1% every eight hours, and no interest is charged.

By adding the SPCXUSD1 contract, Binance continues to advance its strategy to create a comprehensive tokenized asset portfolio that covers traditional financial and cryptocurrency derivatives ecosystems. Binance aims to provide users with diversified trading opportunities far beyond standard cryptocurrencies by connecting stock and digital asset markets.

Previously, Binance has launched SpaceX pre-IPO perpetual futures contracts, allowing investors to gain synthetic exposure before SpaceX shares go public. The new products listed in accordance with Article 17 of the Binance Exchange Rules further integrate equity-linked products into Binance's product system.

SpaceX, led by CEO Elon Musk, is known for its innovations in aerospace and has attracted widespread attention after it went public and was included in major stock indexes.

Mini Dictionary

USD-M Perpetual Contract: Binance's cryptocurrency derivative contract settled in stable currencies such as USDT or USD1. These products provide highly leveraged margin trading and support multiple mortgage asset types.

SpaceX shares face selling pressure

The launch of the SPCXUSD1 contract comes as SpaceX shares are experiencing significant fluctuations. SPCX closed at $131 on Thursday, down 3% on the day, closing down for the fifth consecutive trading day, and its share price fell back to an IPO price of $135.

Investor confidence weakened after SpaceX's 13th starship test flight was cancelled due to booster problems. The company has not yet announced a new test flight date, creating more uncertainty and investors are closely watching the next milestone in its groundbreaking space program.

Despite recent setbacks, Wall Street investment banks have recently begun to give SpaceX an optimistic rating, reflecting market expectations about its prospects for inclusion in the Nasdaq 100 Index.

After a delay and five consecutive days of decline, SPCX fell back to an IPO price of $135 as investors await clear news on the starship's test flight plan.
