XRP ledger voting shows that protocol development is active

Verifier voting continues to be active, and six version 3.3.0 amendments are waiting for broader consensus to facilitate network activation.

The earlier amendments have reached 85.71% and 100% consensus, respectively, indicating that the proposed changes can proceed smoothly through governance mechanisms. The forecast of $589 is not related to registry data, which measures verifier consensus rather than market valuation or price targets.

XRP ledger governance shows continued agreement activity-verifiers are considering amendments, and a $589 forecast is circulating but is not directly supported by the registry.

Verifiers vote to expand to new amendment

Following a tweet linking ledger development to a $589 XRP forecast, saying the network is advancing at "the speed of light" despite broader political delays. However, the registry provides quantifiable governance data rather than evidence of the valuation.

The current version 3.3.0 contains six amendments on the ballot: BatchV1_1, Sponsor, fixCleanup3_3_0, PermissionDelegationV1_1, ConfidentialTransfer, and DynamicMPT. In the registry displayed, none of these proposals is in the "Enabled" status.

Each proposal requires 28 votes out of 35 validators to reach the consensus threshold required for activation. Currently, participation in the six proposed changes is uneven. BatchV1_1 recorded two voters with a consensus rate of 5.71%;fixCleanup3_3_0 had one voter with a consensus rate of 2.86%;Sponsor and PermissionDelegationV1_1 both showed zero voters and zero consensus.

Early amendments show governance progress

The registry also records adopted amendments to earlier versions of the agreement. fixCleanup3_2_0 has 30 voters, with a consensus rate of 85.71%. Its launch date is July 29, 2026, confirming that the amendment has been activated. The earlier fixCleanup3_1_3 recorded 35 voters, a consensus rate of 100%, and an activation date of May 27, 2026. These data provide a clear basis for comparison with the new proposal.

SingleAssetVault currently has 14 voters, with a consensus rate of 40%;LendingProtocol has 13 voters, with a consensus rate of 37.14%. Both are disabled, indicating that activation cannot be achieved immediately based on voting participation alone. The registry also marks fixBatchInnerSgs as "deprecated", and its records show 10 voters, with a consensus rate of 28.57%. Since the proposal has been scrapped, its data should be distinguished from active governance initiatives.

Governance data cannot establish XRP valuation

The description of "speed of light" refers to network development progress, not transaction performance. The registry specifically records amendment voting, verifier participation, consensus reaching and activation status, and does not provide throughput indicators or evidence of future market prices. Therefore, the reference value of $589 is irrelevant to the governance information displayed, and there is no data in the registry to prove that XRP can achieve this valuation. Market prices depend on demand, liquidity, adoption rates and the broader digital asset environment.

Even so, governance records show protocol development continues. A number of proposals are still under review, and previous amendments have been successfully activated. This provides a quantifiable record of network changes rather than speculative market commentary. The next important signal will be increased participation in new proposals. The expansion of the validator consensus will bring these amendments closer to the 28-vote activation threshold. Prior to this, the registry showed active development, but most changes to version 3.3.0 had not yet been confirmed for activation.
