SUI, ONDO and XLM: Three major crypto narratives focus on the next round of markets

Investors often compare altcoins based on sectors, use cases and future growth potential. In market rotation, different encryption narratives behave differently, which makes it particularly important to pay attention to the narrative direction when building a balanced altcoin watch list. SUI represents the scalable Layer-1 network and growing institutional activity;ONDO focuses on tokenized financial products and real-world assets; and XLM focuses on payments and cross-border transfers. These three major projects jointly cover three major themes that deserve close attention in the next round of encryption market.

Sui Network (SUI)

Sui Network stands out among the Layer-1 network due to its parallel transaction processing capabilities. The blockchain adopts an object-based architecture to improve transaction efficiency. This design helps Sui cope with the growing volume of activity without significantly driving up fees. In addition, institutional adoption also adds a new dimension to SUI's investment logic. Institutions such as Securitize, Ember and Aftermath Finance have expanded their businesses in tokenized credit and derivatives, and these integrations have consolidated Sui's position in the institutional blockchain market. SUI currently trades at approximately US$0.68 and has a market value of approximately US$2.8 billion, well below its peak in 2024. CoinGecko also showed that there will be a planned token unlock in early September. For investors seeking Layer-1 exposure, SUI provides a strong growth narrative.

Ondo Finance (ONDO)

Ondo Finance represents the growing real-world asset narrative in the crypto space. The platform introduces traditional financial products to blockchain infrastructure and provides investors with exposure to tokenized financial assets through USDY and OUSG. Allium Research data shows that the Ondo platform has assets across eight chains that are close to US$3.4 billion, highlighting its expanding ecosystem size. ONDO currently trades at approximately US$0.38 and has a market value of approximately US$1.85 billion. Ondo DAO also recently approved a proposal to destroy 100 million tokens, which would permanently remove 1% of the total supply. However, investors need to distinguish platform growth from token valuations. ONDO's trading price is still higher than the platform's actual revenue, so its valuation relies heavily on future growth expectations.

Stellar (XLM)

Stellar provides a different perspective through payments and cross-border financial transfers. The network focuses on the rapid transfer of money and digital assets. The Stellar Development Foundation reported that stablecin payments reached US$5.5 billion in the first quarter of 2026. At the same time, the tokenized real-world assets on Stellar have exceeded US$3 billion. MoneyGram and Figure Markets joined in July as first-level verification nodes, further strengthening Stellar's institutional payments narrative. XLM currently trades at approximately $0.19 and has a market value of approximately $6.6 billion. However, its price performance lags behind network adoption growth. Investors should pay attention to the main support levels during the overall market correction.

SUI provides scalable Layer-1 infrastructure and institutional adoption exposure, ONDO is a direct investment target for tokenized financial assets, and XLM targets the growing digital payments and cross-border transfer markets. These three types of altcoins cover very different narratives, each with different risk and growth characteristics.
