Cosmos-based Layer-1 Network: Ault Capital builds new infrastructure for tokenized assets and digital settlement
Ault Capital developed a Cosmos-based Layer-1 blockchain network for tokenized assets and digital settlement after experiencing setbacks to its companies due to disruption in banking services.
Core Points
· Ault Capital correlates its new Layer-1 network to banking service disruptions experienced by its companies.
·The Cosmos blockchain supports Ethereum smart contracts, tokenized assets and institutional settlements.
·Authenticated participants will manage the network and tokens will be distributed through a private offering.
According to Ault Blockchain, the project aims to reduce the role of traditional financial institutions in settlement while supporting decentralized transactions and other on-chain financial applications. The company positions the network as infrastructure for compliant companies-companies that may face the risk of disruption in banking services even within compliance operations.
This blockchain is built by Ault Capital Group, a subsidiary of Hyperscale Data, and supports tokenized real-world asset and institutional clearing. Its design combines Cosmos Layer-1 architecture with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, allowing developers to run smart contracts written for Ethereum.
The project is advancing as U.S. lawmakers are discussing access to banking services for cryptocurrency companies and other legitimate businesses. Industry participants use the term "debanking" to describe situations where financial institutions restrict or terminate the provision of services to digital asset-related companies.
Banking service interruptions shape network design
Todd Ault, founder of Ault Blockchain, linked the design of the network to the banking problems faced by the companies he led. According to Ault, during the epidemic, a business lost access to funds in its account and was only given a limited time to transfer funds elsewhere.
Based on these experiences, Ault Blockchain is focused on building a settlement infrastructure that will continue to operate even when banking relationships are terminated. The company describes "continuous accessibility" as the core of the project, rather than just seeing it as a means to reduce fees or speed transactions.
Ault Capital launched a public test network of the network in February this year to open up Cosms-based online trading and settlement functions to institutions. Testnet also provides developers with an EVM environment that allows them to execute Ethereum-based smart contracts in the Cosmos architecture.
Ault Capital's background is different from that of many teams developing the new Layer-1 blockchain. The listed company's group business covers Bitcoin mining, artificial intelligence hardware and data centers, allowing the project to connect with companies already using computing and digital asset infrastructure.
Governance and token rules restrict public access
Compliance requirements also affect the way Ault Blockchain operates. According to the company, governance will adopt the Wyoming DAO LLC structure, and participants must complete identity verification before participating.
The company said voting rights will face additional restrictions to prevent concentration of control in the hands of a few participants. Through its DAO-led framework, eligible members will use on-chain governance mechanisms to oversee protocol rules, economic settings, and long-term network upgrades.
Unlike many blockchain projects, Ault Blockchain does not plan to sell its native tokens through a public offering. The company expects to allocate tokens as planned over a longer period of time based on mining node participation and measurable network activity.
This model links token allocation to contributions within the ecosystem rather than early public sales. According to Ault Blockchain, this structure supports its services to authenticated participants and regulated businesses seeking on-chain settlements, without relying entirely on traditional banking relationships.
