Odos will terminate all DeFi aggregation services, and users need to ensure asset security before July 30.
Odos, the decentralized financial (DeFi) aggregation platform, will permanently stop all services and completely shut down operations on July 30, 2026. The Odos team confirmed the decision on social media platform X and informed users that its app would switch to read-only mode three days before it was closed.
Detailed shutdown schedule announced
Odos has planned a three-phase service transition period for its users. Starting from July 23, 2026, existing users can still exchange and close positions, but new account registration and wallet creation functions have been disabled. The function of submitting new limit orders also stopped on the same day.
Starting from July 27, the Odos platform will enter a read-only period. During this period, users can only view transaction history and wallet balance, and cannot conduct any transactions or transfers.
On July 30, Odos will completely terminate all services. The company said it will no longer conduct any feature development, customer support or system maintenance thereafter.
It is worth noting that Odos users who register their wallets through social accounts or email login are advised to transfer all assets or export private keys before July 30 to ensure normal access to the wallets in the future.
Even after the shutdown, Odos plans to keep a wallet access guide on its official website, designed to help users manage their assets after the platform shuts down.
All users should complete asset transfers or export private keys by July 30. Wallets created through social accounts or email may require additional steps, and Odos will provide how-to guidelines to help users in need manage asset access after shutting down.
ODOS tokens and DAO will continue to operate
This closure announcement clarifies the status of ODOS tokens. The token was issued through an agreement, but was never held by Odos or its operating company. The token itself will continue to exist as an on-chain asset, operating independently of the closed company.
In addition, Odos DAO, which manages some protocol parameters and community initiatives, is an independently operating entity. The company said the DAO will release updates to users on its own decisions and future plans independently of the Odos operating company.
Odos strongly warns users to be wary of fraudulent activities related to this shutdown. The company stressed that the closure will not be accompanied by any new product launches, token transfers or airdrops.
Users are reminded not to leak mnemonics, not to approve any suspicious transactions, and to ignore all proposals for restart unless verified through official DAO channels.
Odos concluded its official statement by thanking the community and partners and recognizing the achievements they have made together over the years of operation. The team did not publicly disclose the specific reasons for stopping operations.
The closure makes Odos one of many DeFi projects that will cease to operate in 2026. Users holding funds in Odos wallets are urged to take action before a July 30 deadline to avoid possible problems during subsequent asset recovery processes.
