bStocks trading volume exceeded US$6.7 billion
BNB Chain officially confirmed that the cumulative trading volume of its bStocks platform has exceeded US$6.7 billion. This figure is particularly eye-catching because trading volume for the product had just crossed the $2 billion mark just a few days ago. Such rapid growth rates highlight the sharp rise in demand for tokenized stocks on high-throughput blockchain networks.
bStocks is a BEP-20 token that represents U.S. listed stocks on a 1:1 ratio. These tokens are backed one-for-one by real U.S. stocks held by regulated custodians and verified through a collateral proof mechanism. These securities were issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Binance Group. Eligible users can trade bStocks 24/7, store them on Binance, host them via BNB Chain-compatible wallets, and use them in supported DeFi apps. [TAG
Technology stocks account for 71% of bStocks 'stock holdings and trade 23 times as much as other sectors, with semiconductors alone accounting for 48%. Demographics show that 73% of new users are from emerging markets, 40% have transaction amounts below $100, and 35% of transaction volume comes from fractional stocks.
Growth center for tokenized real-world assets
This milestone for bStocks is part of the overall surge in tokenized assets on BNB Chain. Currently, the value of tokenized real-world assets on BNB Chain is approximately US$3.89 billion, ranking second among all blockchains, covering areas such as treasury bonds, money market funds and stocks.
The ecosystem now supports more than 709 tokenized stocks and ETFs, giving users 24/7 trading rights to some of the world's largest listed companies and selected private market opportunities. Network infrastructure is at the core of the appeal of this product. BNB Chain offers 24/7 trading at transaction costs of less than US$0.01 and a final confirmation time of approximately 650 milliseconds. These features make it ideal for the kind of frequent, small transactions that bStocks is attracting.
Supported DeFi protocols include Venus, Lista DAO, and PancakeSwap, which users can use tokenized assets to borrow or provide liquidity. Binance expects that bStocks 'asset management scale will reach US$10 billion by the end of 2026.
