Geneva, Switzerland-July 27, 2026-TRON DAO, a community-governed DAO committed to accelerating the decentralization of the Internet through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), today announced the launch of a futures listing of TRX (TRON Network Native Utility Tokens) on Bitnomial, a U.S. exchange and clearing house regulated by the CFTC.
This new futures listing introduces a regulated derivatives market for TRON network's native utility token TRX, providing eligible U.S. traders and institutions with an additional way to manage risk exposure through exchange-traded futures. The listing marks continued progress in the development of regulated financial products related to the TRON ecosystem.
TRX drives a variety of activities on the TRON blockchain, including transaction fees, smart contract execution, decentralized applications, and on-chain governance. The network has become the leading platform for stablecoin settlement, supporting more than US$90 billion in circulating USDT and more than US$26 billion in total locked value (TVL), while processing billions of transactions in a global user base.
"The launch of TRX futures contracts on Bitnomial expands the way market participants access and manage risk exposures to the TRON ecosystem through regulated U.S. platforms," said TRON founder Sun Yuchen. "As digital assets become increasingly integrated with traditional financial markets, regulated products like TRX Futures provide market participants with more tools to access and manage the risk exposure of blockchain-based assets."
"TRX is one of the largest digital assets by market cap, backed by one of the most mature networks in cryptocurrencies, and now has a matching regulated U.S. futures market launched on the Bitnomial Exchange," said Michael Dunn, President of the Bitnomial Exchange. "Institutions and traders can hedge and express their views on TRX across positions through portfolio margins and settle through the Bitnomial clearing house. In addition, accumulating a six-month trading history in the futures market regulated by the CFTC provides a key milestone in promoting the approval of spot ETFs in accordance with the SEC's General Listing Standards."
Bitnomial, LLC, headquartered in Chicago, is a derivatives exchange company that owns and operates Exchange (DCM), Clearing House (DCO), and Clearing Broker (FCM) subsidiaries regulated by the U.S. CFTC. Bitnomial offers leveraged spot, perpetual contracts, futures, options and forecast markets on a unified exchange and clearing house, and has digital asset margin and settlement capabilities.
The launch of TRX Futures follows Bitnomial's previous launch of TRX spot trading, expanding the range of regulated products available for the asset in the U.S. market. This also further consolidates the institutional momentum of the TRON ecosystem, including TRX custody and pledge services provided through Anchorage Digital, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States.
As demand for regulated digital asset products continues to grow, TRX Futures on Bitnomial provides market participants with additional trading and portfolio management tools, while further connecting the TRON ecosystem with traditional financial markets.
All Bitnomial futures contracts are offered by Bitnomial Exchange, LLC and are subject to its rules.
