XRP XRP Ledger is about to activate fixCleanup3_2_0 in two days to upgrade
The XRP Ledger ecosystem is about to receive a major network update, and the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment will take effect in less than two days. Data from XRPScan shows that the activation process of the amendment has entered the final countdown, and there is currently only one day and 23 hours left before the planned deployment.
Verifier Support and Activation Process
After a successful vote, the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment received 85.71% consensus support from XRP Ledger verifiers. Under the agreement amendment system, any changes that affect the processing of transactions-even bug fixes-require formal approval. This process requires amendments to receive at least 80% of validators support for two consecutive weeks before being implemented.
XRP Ledger (often known as XRPL) is a decentralized blockchain designed for fast and efficient cross-border payments. Its amendment mechanism ensures a high degree of consensus and strong network governance, helping to coordinate major code changes among all trusted verifiers.

Key Improvement and Upgrade Points
The fixCleanup3_2_0 upgrade is expected to bring important updates to multiple components of the XRPL ecosystem, including Single Asset Vaults, Lending Protocols, Permissioned Decentralized Exchanges (DEX), Multi-Purpose Tokens, and Permissioned Domains. Network participants expect these changes to enhance functionality and reliability for developers and users.
Without unexpected delays, the upgrade will be available on the main network within the next two days as planned.
With the validator support rate exceeding the 80% threshold, the amendment aims to repair components such as treasury, loan agreements, and DEX to bring a smoother XRPL experience to all stakeholders.
Background: Ripple's security initiatives and previous updates
Ripple, a technology company deeply involved in the development of XRP Ledger, has recently stepped up its focus on security. In March this year, Ripple announced the launch of a dedicated artificial intelligence-assisted red team aimed at proactively searching for vulnerabilities in the network.
The fixCleanup3_1_3 amendment was activated on May 27, resolving issues affecting NFTs, licensed domains, vaults and lending agreements. This is considered to be the first dedicated security update under the new security initiative.
In June, XRPL version 3.2.0 was released as a maintenance and cleanup version. This update eliminates amendments that have been active for more than two years and introduces the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment that is now ready to be activated.
Ripple's continued investment in security, including the launch of AI-assisted Red Teams, highlights the project's commitment to protecting the XRPL ecosystem as it continues to upgrade.
