The BNB price rose by more than 5% on July 31, and then was blocked by sellers when it approached US$600. The token price fell back to about US$590, and traders were assessing whether the breakthrough could last.

Summary

BNB prices climbed above US$590 after breaking through the downtrend line that lasted for about 45 days. Daily prices broke through the Bollinger Band at US$587.85, showing strong momentum but signs of overbought. The liquidation heat chart on the 3rd showed that there were a large number of liquidity concentration areas around US$580 and US$605 -610. The 4-hour RSI indicator was at 65.14, still in the bullish range, while the MACD indicator continued to favor the bulls.

Today's BNB price trend

BNB prices rose from the US$570 region, reaching a high of approximately US$595 during the day, and then fell back to approximately US$590 at the time point shown in the chart. This trend lifted the token out of the narrow range that dominated trading in the second half of July. The 4-hour chart shows a breakthrough positive line rising at $575, and then the price extended to $595. Since then, bulls have established themselves in the $586 -590 area, but multiple upper hatches around $595 indicate that sellers remain active below the $600 psychological level.

BNB has tested this broader resistance area multiple times since June. The price was close to $598 on June 22 and close to $594 in early July, but both attempts failed to continue to exceed $600. The breakthrough was stronger than previous tests because it came after a higher low was formed in the $560 -570 range. However, BNB still needs to close at $600 to confirm that the broader consolidation phase is over.

What are the factors driving the trend of BNB?

Technical positioning seems to be the direct driving factor. BNB broke through a downward resistance line that has connected a series of lower highs since token trading around $632 in mid-June. Analyst Hanah described the move as a possible shift in short-term momentum after 45 days of downward pressure. "If BNB can hold on to the breakthrough level, it could pave the way for a stronger bullish continuation." Internet activity also provided fundamental support for this rebound. According to reports, BNB Chain handled approximately US$19 billion in decentralized exchange trading volume during the week, leading Ethereum and Solana during the statistical period. Network utilization also increased from about 17% to nearly 30%. The integration of SilentSwap brings private cross-chain exchange capabilities to the ecosystem and adds new use cases. Rising transaction volume and Gas usage may support demand for BNB, as users need to pay fees on BNB Chain. However, these developments do not guarantee that the price will exceed $600. The current rebound is still mainly affected by technical positioning and liquidity concentration around nearby resistance levels.

The BNB indicator is biased towards long positions, but shows overbought conditions

BNB's daily closing price was close to US$590.15, above US$587.85 on the upper track of the Bollinger Band. The middle rail is at US$573.53 and the lower rail is close to US$559.21. A break in prices reflects strong buying pressure, but too fast a price rise may also signal a short-term correction. The return of the daily closing price to track will make $573.53 the first mean return target. The average trend index (ADX) was at 22.27, indicating that the current trend is of moderate strength and has not yet reached the level normally associated with strong directional movements. The kinetic energy over the 4-hour time frame is clearer. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) was 65.14, above its moving average of 61.84, but below the overbought threshold of 70. This leaves room for subsequent gains, but also warns buyers that they are approaching overbought territory. The 4-hour MACD line is 5.79, which is higher than the signal line of 4.33, and the bar chart is positive at 1.46. The indicator allocation is still bullish, but the contraction of the histogram indicates that the initial burst of momentum is cooling.

Key BNB prices to pay attention to

The liquidation heat chart on the 3rd showed that there was a dense pool of leveraged positions around US$605 -610. If BNB breaks through $600, the cluster could attract prices, but could also exacerbate volatility as short liquidations and profit-taking occur in the same region. Decisively standing at US$610 will strengthen the breakthrough trend and open the way to the previous US$620 -632 supply area. The latter is the high point at which the downtrend line starts. Immediate support is in the $587 -580 range. The heat map shows that liquidity in the brightest vicinity is concentrated around $580 -582, making this area a possible downside target when the rebound momentum weakens. After falling below US$580, US$573.53 in the middle of the Bollinger Band will become the next technical support level. A loss to this level would weaken the breakthrough and expose the US$559 -560 region, where the lower trend of the daily Bollinger Line coincides with the demand area established in July.

U.S. market conditions may limit breakthroughs

U.S. investors are also focusing on broader risk appetite, as geopolitical tensions and high energy prices continue to keep inflation concerns. Higher oil prices could complicate the Fed's policy outlook by increasing the risk of inflation above target. A stricter interest rate environment typically reduces the liquidity available for speculative assets, including altcoins. Therefore, if Bitcoin and U.S. technology stocks weaken as investors reduce risk, BNB may have difficulty maintaining independent gains. The short-term outlook remains positive as long as BNB remains above $580. A confirmation of a breakthrough of US$600 -610 would help continue the rally, while a fall back below US$573 suggests that the recent trend is another failed breakthrough within a broader range.
