According to the second quarter of 2026 report released by decentralized exchange Hyperliquid on Wednesday, the trading volume of tokenized real-world assets on the platform has accounted for more than one-third of its total quarterly trading volume. These data are compiled by Hyperliquid itself and are not independently audited.
HIP-3 RWA perpetual contracts performed strongly
In the second quarter of 2026, HIP-3 RWA perpetual contracts accounted for 32.2% of Hyperliquid's total trading volume, a significant increase from 20.7% in the first quarter of 2026, compared with only 1.8% in the fourth quarter of 2025. In absolute terms, RWA transaction volume on the platform reached US$213 billion during the quarter.
