Carbon launches its native TradFi chain derivatives platform with a single account covering 950+ markets

The British Virgin Islands Road Town, August 7, 2026-Carbon, as the main chain broker in global markets, today officially opened public trading in more than 250 Carbon TradFi markets, covering stocks, indices, foreign exchange and commodities. Each position is hedged 1:1 on regulated TradFi trading venues, making Carbon the largest TradFi native on-chain derivatives platform. Coupled with more than 530 cryptocurrency perpetual contracts and 150 real-world assets traded in real time 7×24 hours, there are now more than 950 tradable varieties in a single account.

Carbon TradFi is an on-chain tool independently developed by Carbon. Traders open on-chain positions in their wallets, and Carbon's solver architecture hedges 1:1 at regulated brokers off the chain. Traders never need to give up self-custody rights, and the price and depth they obtain come from the underlying market, rather than building them themselves through on-chain order books.

This structure eliminates the cold-start problem that previously restricted real-world asset listings. Every Carbon TradFi market has full institutional depth on its first day, because depth is inherited, not artificial. There is no need to run incentive plans for every market, and there is no need to wait for liquidity to accumulate.

Carbon now offers traders two options within a single account. Its 150 7×24-hour real-world markets trade around the clock to meet traders in need at any time; its more than 250 Carbon TradFi markets follow market trading hours and use rollover prices from the underlying market to meet the needs of traders who pursue institutional depth and predictable holding costs. There are about 30 assets that exist in two forms at the same time, allowing traders to hold one position and the other in the same account to capture the difference between the two financing rates.

Carbon connects to a huge global market. TradFi markets liquidate more than US$1.5 trillion in CFDs in thousands of markets every day, and previously there was no direct path for these liquidity to be linked.

Carbon TradFi coverage when launched:

200 stocks (Covering U.S., European Union and Asian markets)
62 foreign exchange currency pairs
12 indices
8 commodities

Carbon can launch a hot asset within the week it starts to fluctuate in Seoul, Tokyo or Hong Kong, a speed unmatched by orderbook platforms. Because they lack the off-chain infrastructure needed to quickly establish new markets. Another 150 markets are planned to go online.

This launch also opens public deposits in the Carbon Liquidity Provider (CLP) vault. CLP is a delta-neutral yield product: it funds hedging behind trading flows rather than taking directional positions, and the yield comes from the spread between on-chain demand and off-chain liquidity. The modeled annualized rate of return (APY) is indicative data, ranging from 20.3% at start-up to 57.1% at maturity, depending on transaction flow and capital utilization.

"Traders had previously had to make a trade-off between the assets they wanted and the quality of execution required. Carbon ended this dilemma. Each position is hedged into the world's deepest liquidity pool and settled in the trader's own wallet, with a single account holding more than 950 markets. This is what the global market will look like after it is truly launched."-- Carbon co-founder and CEO Levy

"One of the biggest challenges in bringing traditional financial assets onto the chain has always been providing deep liquidity. Carbon has adopted an architecture that connects on-chain transactions with mature market infrastructure while remaining self-custodial. We want Arbitrum to be the home of teams building the next generation of financial infrastructure."-- David Garcia, Head of Ecosystem at the Arbitrum Foundation
