Ripple CEO will attend the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse plans to speak at the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium. The seminar, co-hosted by SALT and Kraken, is open to invited guests only and will be held in Jackson Hole from August 17 to 20.
XRP community member Crypto Eri (@sentosumosaba) confirmed the news based on the SALT official speaker page and pointed out that the page already lists Garlinghouse's attendance information.
The event is expected to attract approximately 500 participants, including policymakers, institutional investors and crypto industry leaders. Its purpose is to promote digital asset supervision, promote a decentralized financial system, and deepen institutions 'understanding of blockchain technology.

High-profile gathering
Garlinghouse is one of the many well-known people who have confirmed their attendance at the seminar. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Paul Atkins, Senator Cynthia Lummis, Galaxy's Michael Novogratz, BitGo CEO Mike Belshe, Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson and Stellar Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon are also on the agenda.
The extensive lineup of guest speakers reflects the event's positioning as an important forum for financial and regulatory dialogue in the field of digital assets.
Garlinghouse's speech theme
His speech theme is "Modern Financial Infrastructure" and is scheduled for the second day of the seminar (August 18). CNBC reporter Tanaya Macheel will serve as the host. This theme is highly consistent with Ripple's long-standing focus on cross-border payments and its goal of modernizing the financial system through blockchain technology.
Although Ripple did not disclose any specific XRP-related announcements before the event, the speech overlapped with the XRP ledger ecosystem and the payment infrastructure it supports.
Crypto Eri also pointed out that the 2025 SALT event was publicly broadcast and encouraged the community to pay attention to possible coverage of this year's conference.
The shift the XRP community is looking forward to
This appearance comes at a time when Garlinghouse is unusually silent on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Some XRP community members have publicly called on him to comment on XRP's poor performance and other major market events.
For a community eager to hear directly from Ripple's leadership, the Wyoming seminar provided a meaningful opportunity to understand Ripple's position and its views on the changing regulatory and financial landscape.
This event is not an exclusive platform for Ripple, but Garlinghouse's participation in a forum of this size with regulators and institutional people is worthy of attention in itself. The XRP army is paying close attention to this matter, and given that Ripple will also meet with the president in the near future, market participants want to hear from the CEO's insights on the XRP ecosystem, the Ripple plan and the future direction of the crypto industry.
