Uniswap's native token UNI sets a new record for daily destruction value
According to data, on August 21 (yesterday), the destruction value of Uniswap's native token UNI was approximately US$590,000, setting the highest single-day destruction amount ever denominated in US dollars.
Among them, the largest destruction occurred on the Ethereum network, where approximately US$267,000 of UNI was permanently removed and circulated; followed by Base Network (US$165,000) and Robinhood Chain (approximately US$87,000). After taking into account the destruction of other networks, the total value per day is close to US$590,000.
In terms of the number of tokens, a total of about 150,000 UNI were destroyed on August 21, ranking second among UNI's historical single-day destruction.
Data shows that UNI's destruction mechanism has recently accelerated significantly, and destruction activities have expanded to multiple networks.
UNI prices have risen 6.88% in the past 24 hours, but are still down 90.7% from an all-time high of around US$45.
