XRP Ledger (XRPL) network activity surges, and XRP prices break through key resistance levels
As a decentralized blockchain network supporting XRP cryptocurrency, XRP Ledger (XRPL)'s recent activity volume has risen sharply, and many core network indicators have risen sharply with the breakthrough of XRP prices.
Internet usage indicators soar
The latest data shows that the average transaction volume per closed ledger of XRPL has soared to 176.33, an increase of 150.2% from the previous one. This indicator tracks the total amount of activity processed during each ledger cycle and reflects significant increases in network usage, not just the impact of price changes.
Overall, the number of successful transactions online climbed 111.8%, reaching 2.2 million. If all transaction types are included, the increase is 78.9%, with a total of 2.6 million transactions recorded recently.
The number of payments online also increased by 8.9%, to approximately 605,400. User engagement increased simultaneously: the number of active users surged by 224% to approximately 483,600; the number of active accounts increased by 27.7% to approximately 17,300; in addition, the number of new accounts created was approximately 2600, a jump of 28% from the previous period.
With transaction volume per ledger growing by 150% and active users growing by more than 220%, XRPL is experiencing one of its strongest periods of network growth in history. This momentum suggests that the recent price rebound is supported by real Internet usage.
Observers point out that based on these data, the surge in transaction volume per ledger appears to be due to widespread growth rather than isolated technical reasons.
Value transfer and decentralized exchange activities
Total transfer value on XRPL is also rising sharply. The number of XRPs destroyed as transaction fees increased by 81.3%. Payments jumped 140.8% to approximately 739.8 million XRP. These increases suggest that as activity heats up, more capital is flowing through the network.
Decentralized exchange (DEX) activity on XRPL also climbed. The number of OfferCancel operations increased by 150.8% to 222,300; while the OfferCreate function increased by 56.2% to approximately 965,700. This reflects a higher level of user participation in the ledger's built-in transaction functions.
(Note: OfferCreate/OfferCancel is an operation of the XRPL decentralized exchange that allows users to place or cancel orders directly on the ledger without the need for a third-party intermediary. OfferCreate initiates a new transaction and OfferCancel cancels existing orders. These features provide a trust-free online trading experience.)
This expansion period coincides with significant fluctuations in XRP prices. The token rose sharply after breaking through key resistance levels and is currently trading at around $1.48.
XRP Price Trend and Market Sentiment
XRP recently exceeded the long-term moving average of US$1.35, driven by a sharp increase in trading volume. The daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently at 85.9, indicating that the token is in overbought territory, implying a risk of a correction or cooling in the short term.
Analysts pointed out that unlike previous speculative price surges, the current rise in XRP is associated with higher network engagement and user activity. If trading volume and active users remain strong after the initial surge, these data may further support that XRP's rise is driven by both trading sentiment and supported by real usage.
