Ripple launches Ripple Mint to integrate its institutional stablecoin management platform
Ripple officially releases Ripple Mint, an institutional platform designed to uniformly manage the company's official stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD). Previously, corporate entities had to manually complete RLUSD-related transactions on decentralized platforms, making it more difficult to organize and coordinate crypto activities. Ripple Mint solves the above problems by providing a unified central management platform-where users can access, minting and convert RLUSD into legal tender in one stop.
Ripple Mint unifies the enterprise RLUSD transaction process
This software allows users to trade stablecoins on multiple blockchains, including XRP Ledger (XRPL), Ethereum, and well-known second-layer extension networks such as Base and Optimism. It has programmable webhook notification capabilities and a unified reference ID to track the status of transactions at various stages: fiat receipt, token minting, on-chain settlement, and payment completion.
Organizations can access the platform directly through the official Ripple Mint dashboard, or use the application programming interface (API) to interface it with their own software. The console will serve multiple types of organizations, including cryptocurrency exchanges, market makers, payment service providers, and financial technology companies.
According to Ripple, RLUSD operations on Ripple Mint comply with standard compliance requirements. The stablecoin is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a highly regulated financial services company with institutional qualifications. In addition, RLUSD is regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS).
More Achievements
RLUSD stablecoins have been launched for nearly two years and have become one of the top ten stablecoins in market value (market value of approximately US$1.59 billion). In the past 24 hours, its trading volume reached US$123.38 million and is listed on many well-known exchanges such as Kraken, Bitstamp and Bullish.
The launch of Ripple Mint will simplify enterprises 'access and management processes to stablecoins, which is expected to further expand its international influence and promote its use in cross-border channels where demand is strong.
