Ripple launches institutional RLUSD management platform Ripple Mint
Ripple officially launches the Ripple Mint platform, allowing institutional customers to complete the casting, redemption, cross-chain bridging and monitoring of RLUSD through a web interface or API. This new platform aims to provide institutions with automated, multi-chain support and regulated RLUSD issuance services, streamlining stablecoin operations.
According to Ripple, Ripple Mint abandons the traditional manual operation process and tailor-made automation tools for organizations that manage large-scale digital assets. Customers can choose between web interface or direct API integration based on their own operational needs. The platform supports institutions directly casting and redemption RLUSD, bridges tokens between supported blockchains, and monitors the full process of transactions from initiation to settlement in real time. In addition, new APIs and Webhook notifications provide real-time updates at all stages of the transaction life cycle.
Ripple said that customers can also programmatically check account balances and monitor redemption requests involving fiat settlement and blockchain transfers. At the same time, a unified reference ID connects all aspects of the transaction to facilitate reconciliation and operation tracking. Existing RLUSD customers can continue to use the original service without interruption, while also enjoying new extended workflow options.
RLUSD expands to more networks
While launching Ripple Mint, Ripple continues to expand the application scope of RLUSD. Currently, the stablecoin has expanded from the original XRP Ledger and Ethereum to multiple networks such as XRPL EVM sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink and Unichain. Ripple said that the XRPL EVM sidechain deeply integrates Ethereum virtual machine compatibility with the XRP Ledger ecosystem, allowing institutions to use RLUSD in more exchanges, decentralized financial protocols, payment applications and blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
The company also pointed out that XRP and RLUSD will work collaboratively across the supported networks and be applied to liquidity, settlement, mortgage, redemption and payment scenarios.
RLUSD is open to institutional stablecoin operations
According to Ripple, Ripple Mint provides institutions with operational control capabilities through automation, multi-chain access and regulated issuance mechanisms. RLUSD is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company LLC, a trust company licensed by the New York State Department of Financial Services. Ripple said the platform will continue to evolve into a broader access system for institutional stablecoin operations and liquidity management. Currently, Ripple Mint is open to existing RLUSD customers.
