Pi Network tokens test the Launchpad model, easing selling pressure

Key points

Pi Network coin is stable above US$0.0700, with buyers testing resistance around US$0.08.

SLICE routes the locked Test-Pi to a liquidity pool instead of project financing.

Bullish RSI divergences support a rebound, but the overall trend remains bearish.

On Wednesday, the price of Pi Network coin was trading at around US$0.0785, having rebounded by about 4% in the previous 24 hours. The rally followed a sharp decline in a week that at one point pushed the PI to around $0.073. Selling pressure eased, but prices remained below the key resistance level of $0.08.

Meanwhile, Pi Network detailed its updated Launchpad model after distributing the SLICE test token. This design stores the locked Test-Pi into the liquidity pool rather than transferring it to the distribution project. This structure is designed to provide available liquidity for eco-tokens from day one, while tying them to application functions.

Pi Network coin holds support after falling sharply on the weekly line

Pi Network coin has stabilized above US$0.0700 after falling nearly 20% in the most recent week. Price data shows that the PI is approximately US$0.0785, and the intra-day range of fluctuations is roughly between US$0.0746 and US$0.0805. The token was close to $0.08 in the session, but the buyer failed to achieve an effective breakthrough.

This rebound is mainly related to the improvement of the overall crypto market conditions. CoinMarketCap data showed that Bitcoin and Ethereum also rose, driving a beta-driven recovery in small assets. This makes the latest price trend of Picoin more dependent on overall risk appetite than on a single network update.

TradingView data showed support at around $0.074, where buyers blocked recent declines. A break below this level could expose recent lows near $0.070. Conversely, continuing trading above US$0.08 will improve the short-term structure and reduce immediate selling pressure.

Launchpad sends Test-Pi into the SLICE liquidity pool

At the same time, Picoin news focuses on the completed SLICE distribution and its trading tools after it is launched. Pi Network said that between June 11 and June 28, more than 242,000 Pioneers locked 15.92 million Test-Pi units. Participants received allocations from a supply of 10 million SLICE test tokens.

Unlike many token sales, the locked Test-Pi does not flow to the project, but enters a liquidity pool paired with SLICE. The model connects tokens to application access, payments, rewards, governance, and user engagement while establishing transaction depth.

This pool operates in parallel with Pi DEX's traditional order book. It also uses an automated market maker mechanism to price based on available SLICE and Test-Pi reserves. When users purchase SLICE, their reserves decrease, while Test-Pi reserves increase. This change will push up the displayed SLICE price.

Pi Network applies a constant product formula for this pool. Before deducting expenses, the product of the two reserves remains unchanged. This allows prices to automatically adjust as traders add or remove any asset.

Pi Network coin faces a test of US$0.08, and the RSI divergence forms

In addition, Pi Network coin's chart shows early signs of a technical rebound. A bullish RSI divergence emerged as prices held steady near recent lows and momentum improved. This signal may support a rebound, but it does not in itself confirm a trend reversal.

The current direct test is still US$0.08. A strong volume above this level could open up room for a broad rebound after recent declines. Insufficient trading volume or blocked again will keep the price of Picoin within the corrective rebound range.

The macro environment remains another risk factor. The Federal Reserve will conclude its policy meeting on Wednesday (July 28-29), with its statement scheduled to be released at 2:30 p.m. ET. A stronger risk appetite reaction in the market may help PI expand its gains. The renewed intensification of market pressure may push prices back to around $0.074.

SLICE will only exist as a test net asset and will not be migrated to the main net. Pioneers can now view allocations, issue prices, effective purchase prices, liquidity data, and real-time redemption charts within the Launchpad interface.
