ETH Whale Address invested US$791,000 to buy $CASHCAT
Data monitored by the online analysis platform Lookonchain showed that a newly created online address ending in 0xf33f deployed 424 ETH and accumulated 13.14 million $CASHCAT tokens. The purchase was worth approximately $791,000. The position has now risen to approximately US$905,000, and the wallet has unrealized profits of approximately US$115,000.
This operation is eye-catching for its scale and speed. The address appears to be brand new, indicating that this was an intentional bet on the token, rather than a transfer from an existing portfolio. On-chain tracking tools flagged the transaction shortly after it was executed and attracted widespread market attention.
What is $CASHCAT? Why the increase?
$CASHCAT is a community-created memin deployed on Robinhood Chain. Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum based Layer 2 blockchain launched by Robinhood on July 1, 2026. The name of the token comes from "Cash Cat"-Robinhood was an early mascot during the start-up of the stock trading application. The token was not officially recognized by the company.
The token's market value was close to US$150 million at one point, with 24-hour trading volume exceeding US$159 million, demonstrating that Robinhood's unlicensed L2 can attract retail activity and external liquidity surrounding its brand. Factors behind the rise include narration-driven speculation, rising popularity of Robinhood Chain, and increased trader interest in eco-tokens associated with the network.
However, CASHCAT has shown the potential for a sharp reversal, with its price pulling back more than 30% from historical highs. The project itself publicly stated that CASHCAT has no practical use or intrinsic value, and its needs depend entirely on community participation and memecoin sentiment.
