Binance latest developments: Remove four trading pairs and suspend some services

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, will remove the following spot trading pairs on August 7: QNT/BTC, RPL/USDC, SIGN/BNB and SKL/USDC. The decision was based on its latest analysis to assess whether all supporting trading pairs met key indicators such as sufficient liquidity and trading volume.

In addition, Binance will temporarily suspend U.S. stock trading on the platform on August 8 due to the planned system upgrade of the cooperative securities firm. The upgrade process is expected to take about three hours, and transactions will return to normal after completion.

This is not the first time Binance has suspended some services to support technology upgrades. At the beginning of July, Binance temporarily suspended bitcoin network recharge services for wallet maintenance. In the same month, TRX replenishment and ZEC trading were also briefly interrupted due to wavefield network optimization and support for Zcash hard forks. There were no reports or complaints of major issues with any of the above incidents, so the upcoming wallet maintenance should not impact users.

How is the future outlook for SOL?

The current price of Solana native tokens is just below US$73.50, a monthly decline of 5%. Its current price has fallen below the key support level of $73.70, which analyst Ali Martinez sees as a "make-or-break" moment. He pointed out that more than 50 million SOL units were bought near this level, and if the closing price continues to fall below this line, it may open up space for a drop to $50.

In contrast, analysts Michael Van der Popp and Pepesso gave more optimistic forecasts. The former believes that if the price exceeds US$76, it is expected to rebound to US$120; the latter insists that as long as SOL remains above US$45, the current "clear funding pattern" will remain valid.

DOGE's breakthrough opportunity

A few days ago, Dogecoin fell to about US$0.067, a three-year low and a 90% drop from its all-time high in 2021. The current price is slightly above this level. When it hit bottom, some market observers saw significant bullish signals.

X platform user Ash Crypto pointed out to his more than 2 million fans that DOGE's monthly relative strength indicator has entered the most oversold area since the bear market in 2022. This sign is usually good for bulls because it suggests that seller power is exhausted and the possibility of a strong rebound increases. In contrast, overbought areas are often seen as callbacks.

MikybullCrypto also expressed a similar view: "At the current macro support level, bearish should not continue. The RSI is at its most oversold level. In the long reversal process, the next target will be $1."

Another positive sign for the dogcoin ecosystem is the 16% increase in the number of weekly active addresses, from approximately 38,000 at the end of July to approximately 44,000 on August 5.
