FollowingShibarium Explorer infrastructure changes raise questions
Recently, the unexpected infrastructure changes of the Shibarium Explorer (i.e. ShibariumScan) have attracted widespread attention in the Shibarium Inu community. After users discovered that the original brand identity and Shibnames feature of the Explorer had disappeared, consultant Mazrael explained the change, which quickly aroused the curiosity of the community.
What happened to the brand identity?
Mazrael stated on August 12 that ShibariumScan has returned to normal operation and can efficiently index data. However, the lack of brand logos and Shibnames functionality has led enthusiasts to speculate that there may be technical difficulties.
Mazrael further explained that the Explorer's infrastructure had been adjusted on August 11 and migrated to a network supported by Cloudflare. The process involved changes in Domain Name System (DNS) settings-which previously pointed directly to the server, but on August 11 the configuration switched to proxy mode, opening up a new path for the Explorer.
He described the adjustment as a major infrastructure migration and pointed out that these changes are the result of the Explorer's current standard, non-customized state. As a result, the original brand identity was removed and the system's ability to backfill data ceased.
Are domain names still secure?
Yes, domain names are still secure. After noting other activities on August 11, Mazrael said that the Shibarium domain name is valid until August 1, 2027, and that all four domain name transfers are locked, further enhancing security.
Mazrael pointed out: "The V3 factory's nonce ranged from 441 to 483, and 42 new pools were added in the past 24 hours, creating a total of 69 pools. I sampled 25 of them and found that there were no actual transactions, and the WBONE liquidity in all 25 pools was 0.0000."
Although a large number of new pools have emerged on the platform, Mazrael emphasized that these pools have not seen any noteworthy growth in trading activity or liquidity. Although the infrastructure appears stable, there has been no corresponding increase in exploder-related ecosystem participation.
