Shiba Inu prices rebound after exchange listing and expansion in Dubai
New listing and international expansion
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is a cryptocurrency inspired by meme culture. Known for its active online community, it was recently listed on the Australia exchange FameEX. Since then, the SHIB price briefly rose to US$0.00001004 on the platform, reflecting renewed market interest.
FameEX, a digital asset trading platform based in Australia, has added Shiba Inu to the list of tradable tokens, expanding the accessibility of SHIB among investors in the Asia-Pacific region. Shortly after its launch, the cryptocurrency experienced a significant rise.
In addition, Shiba Inu users can now use the token for consumption at Dubai Duty Free Airport stores, further expanding the application of SHIB beyond online transactions. This marks an important step towards real-world adoption, especially in Dubai, a world-renowned travel hub.
Market performance and investor sentiment
Despite renewed attention, Shiba Inu has faced persistent challenges over the past 18 months. The token reached a high of $0.000032 in December 2024, but has been on a downward trend since then, failing to keep up with the strong momentum of leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple during the market rebound in 2025.
Analysts attributed SHIB's poor performance to its reputation as a memecoin, which typically carries higher risks than other digital assets. Investors 'risk appetite remains sluggish, limiting the positive price movements of speculative tokens such as SHIB.
Shiba Inu initially achieved astonishing gains, rising by millions of percentage points in the months after its launch in August 2020. However, interest and enthusiasm for memecoin have cooled significantly, and the online hype that once drove SHIB's rise has subsided. Although Shiba Inu has benefited from a record launch, enthusiasm has waned, leading to a decline in demand and a flat market performance compared to other major cryptocurrencies.
Future growth prospects
The recent launch in Australia and retail availability in Dubai suggest that support for SHIB is growing and may gain more exposure among new users. However, many market observers remain cautious about the token's ability to maintain its upward momentum without improving overall cryptocurrency market conditions.
Retail investors are currently more cautious about meme tokens, and any major price breakthrough for SHIB may depend on the overall recovery of the digital asset industry, especially if Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies return to stronger performance levels.
