SIREN returns to popular token list

AI-themed meme coin $SIREN (native to BNB Chain) has once again become the focus of the market after several months of silence. In the past 24 hours, the token's price has increased by more than 30%, making it one of the hottest crypto assets of the day. Despite this,$SIREN is still down about 40% year-to-date, giving it a market value of about US$30 million.

The catalyst for this rise seems to be that past market maker sell-offs have attracted renewed attention, reigniting market discussions about the supply dynamics of the token and the manipulation forces behind the price. On-line analyst Yu Jin previously reported that 52 of the top 54 SIREN holding addresses appear to belong to the same entity, controlling approximately 644 million tokens, accounting for approximately 88.5% of the circulating supply. Market maker DWG Labs was listed as a suspect.

Several online analysts, including Bubblemaps and investigator ZachXBT, have repeatedly pointed to extreme concentration of the token: an entity or highly connected wallet is said to control a large portion of the total supply. Critics believe that this model allows project parties to promote coordinated bids through social media hype, followed by fierce sell-offs, with insiders cashing out at high positions and leaving the market.

Volatility history on BNB Chain

According to Bubblemaps analysis, SIREN was launched in February 2025 and positioned as the "first on-chain AI analyst on the BNB chain", but it was basically abandoned shortly after its launch. Subsequently, the token suddenly became popular after a long period of silence for the project, riding on the hype wave of AI plus meme coin narrative in early 2026.

The moment of its explosion occurred in February 2026, when Binance co-founder Zhao Changpeng destroyed some of the SIREN tokens he had held in the donation wallet he received. The destruction triggered a narrative of a supply shock, pushing the token from below $0.17 to above $3.60 in six weeks. In March 2026, this pattern became particularly obvious: after SIREN hit a record high close to US$3.83, it plunged more than 60% to 70% in a single day due to large sell-offs.

In contrast, today's 30% increase appears much milder. Based on a market value of US$30 million, the size of $SIREN is far less than before. Whether this rally can last or whether it will repeat the mistakes of previous gains will be a question that traders will pay close attention to. For now, the token has managed to do at least what meme does best: reignite discussions.
