Sharp changes in Shiba Inu Exchange traffic reveal market dynamics
As Shiba Inu prices try to rebound, the flow of its tokens to the exchange has changed significantly, suggesting that market sentiment is changing.
Prices rise, exchange net inflows fall
In the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu (SHIB) prices have risen 5.5% to approximately US$0.00000521. The move exceeded the moving average near $0.0000489 for the first time since June, a rise that strengthens the token's technical outlook. However, exchange data presents complex signals. Net inflows to exchanges dropped sharply to 212.3 billion SHIBs, well below the previous level of more than 1 trillion, indicating that despite the price rise, the net supply flowing to exchanges has weakened significantly.
"The decrease in net inflows of 811 billion SHIBs does not confirm that investors are generally turning to selling during this rally."
Exchange inflows and outflows: Are they balanced?
Exchange inflows rose slightly by 1.85% to approximately 1.007 trillion SHIBs. The seven-day average inflow also increased by 26.36%, reaching 1.286 billion SHIBs. Exchange reserves increased slightly by 0.24% to 87.39 trillion SHIBs, indicating that some investors are still transferring tokens to trading platforms.
Despite this, the outflow from the exchange is still considerable, with approximately 748 billion SHIBs withdrawn. The number of active addresses increased by 1.15%, and buyer addresses increased by 1.12%. This reflects not one-way selling, but broader online activity. As a meme coin developed based on the Ethereum network, Shiba Inu Coin continues to attract various market participants.
Recent prices of Shiba Inu coins have hit levels that have not been maintained since June. Net inflows to exchanges dropped significantly, highlighting the decrease in net supply to exchanges. Inflows increased slightly, but outflows remained high. Both active addresses and buyer addresses within the network showed moderate growth. [TAG
Technical indicators showed buyers briefly gaining the upper hand, with prices breaking through the $0.00005 mark, indicating a possible move into the $0.000055 to $0.000057 range. However, with the Relative Strength Index rising to 67.4, the SHIB is approaching overbought territory.
Therefore, as prices rise, so does the risk of profit-taking. However, the sharp drop in net inflows does not indicate that investors have completely exited the bullish momentum. In Shiba Inu's strongest attempt to rebound in weeks, exchange supply dynamics remained stable against the backdrop of large outflows, indicating that selling pressure was not the only decisive factor.
