Zcash led the rise in changing currencies, and market sentiment remained cautious.

On June 13, Zcash stood out among the changing currencies, recording a gain of nearly 6% in 24 hours, while Bitcoin was basically flat, while Shiba Inu fell slightly. This round of market trends highlights that market momentum is not widespread, but highly concentrated. The Fear and Greed Index reported 28, still in the "Fear" range.

Signal differentiation between BTC, DOGE, SHIB and ZEC

ZEC is an obvious anomaly, rising 5.86% in 24 hours, while BTC remains basically unchanged. DOGE performed moderately, rising slightly by 0.97%, while SHIB was the only currency in the group to decline, down 0.58%. The Fear and Greed Index was 28, indicating that the overall market remains cautious despite the strengthening of some altcoins.

The total market value of cryptocurrencies is approximately US$2.29 trillion, rising by approximately 0.75% in the past 24 hours. This modest increase masks the huge differences in performance between the four currencies. When volatile currencies operate independently of Bitcoin, they usually reflect targeted speculation or asset-specific catalysts rather than widespread shifts in risk appetite. This divergence is the characteristic of the market on June 13, which is exactly the same as the divergence trend of altcoins on June 12.

Bitcoin sideways consolidation serves as a market anchor

As of press time, Bitcoin was trading at US$63,753, which was basically flat within 24 hours, rising only slightly by 0.01%. The daily trading volume was US$19.29 billion, and the market value was US$1.28 trillion. BTC's market share is 56.2%, still accounting for more than half of the total market value of cryptocurrencies. The city's share remained stable, strengthening BTC's role as a market benchmark rather than a source of volatility.

Bitcoin's sideways movements, coupled with the sentiment index in the "fear" range, create an environment where funds rotate among smaller assets rather than large inflows or outflows into or out of the market. This is the background for the divergence of DOGE, SHIB and ZEC.

ZEC led the gains, DOGE held steady and SHIB fell

Zcash is a prominent performer. ZEC reported US$535.57, up 5.86% in 24 hours. Its daily trading volume was US$421 million and its market value was US$9 billion, ranking first among many mid-market competitors. Unlike memecoins in this group, ZEC is a privacy-conscious asset with a different investor profile. With BTC barely moving, ZEC recorded a 5.86% increase, indicating that it was driven by asset-specific demand rather than a broad general increase in altcoins.

Dogecoin's increase was moderate, at US$0.0732, up 0.97%, with a market value of US$11.35 billion. DOGE trading volume reached $352.5 million, enough to confirm moderate buying interest, but not enough to signal a breakthrough.

Shiba Inu coins are the weakest performing link. SHIB reported US$0.00000425, down 0.58%, with a market value of US$2.51 billion and a daily trading volume of only US$42.2 million. This trading volume was significantly lower than the other three assets, indicating weakening speculative interest.

The three trading currencies are ranked by momentum on June 13: ZEC is clearly the strongest, DOGE is neutral and positive, and SHIB tends to weaken. The gap between ZEC's nearly 6% gain and SHIB's slight decline is enough to separate the real momentum from market noise.

Looking forward to the next trading session, ZEC's chart is the most eye-catching in the group as its gains are supported by volume. DOGE needs to regain stronger momentum to break through the recent sideways pattern, and SHIB's declining trading volume is a warning sign for bulls looking forward to a reversal. Because Bitcoin provides no directional guidance and the broader BTC narrative focuses elsewhere, changing currencies need their own catalysts to maintain momentum through the weekend.
