Dogecoin faces key support levels, and monthly closing is crucial.
Dogecoin is currently at dual key support levels for Bitcoin and the US dollar, so the next closing price is particularly important. If we can hold this area and break through the downward trend, a rebound may start; on the other hand, if we lose, it may further aggravate DOGE's weak performance.
Dogecoin faces critical monthly test against Bitcoin
Dogecoin versus Bitcoin exchange rate is approaching a long-term support area that has played a supporting role in multiple market cycles. If monthly closing prices fall within this area, it will confirm that their relative weakness has intensified further and delay any DOGE-led recovery.
The chart shows that the DOGE/BTC exchange rate is currently close to 0.0000114 BTC, which is in the basic region before the previous sharp increase. However, since its peak in 2021, the currency pair has continued to form lower highs, indicating that Bitcoin still maintains a stronger long-term trend.
Holding this area may allow DOGE/BTC to build a bottom and begin broader consolidation. But buyers still need to hit higher monthly lows and regain nearby resistance before they can see this trend as a true reversal.
If the monthly closing price falls below the support level, it will weaken historical comparability and suggest that Dogecoin may continue to underperform Bitcoin. Until support holds and momentum improves, the chart remains at a decision point rather than a confirmed DOGE breakthrough signal.
Dogecoin tested US$0.07, the downward trend is at a deciding point
Dogecoin is testing key support areas around $0.07 while also following a downtrend line that has suppressed prices for months. A strong reaction here may mark the first step in a short-term reversal.
This trend line has suppressed DOGE many times in early rebound attempts, keeping the overall structure bearish. Buyers now need to break through that trend line and hold on to that level during backtests to confirm that selling pressure is weakening.
A successful breakthrough could redirect attention back to the $0.075 -0.078 area, followed by stronger resistance around $0.081. However, a loss in the current support area will maintain the downward trend and expose lower levels around US$0.067 -0.065.
Currently, dogcoin is at a decision point. Support remains holding, but a reversal has not yet been confirmed until DOGE clearly closes above the trend line.
