Noxa suspends token issuance after incurring more than US$12 million in fees within two weeks
Noxa suspended token issuance after helping Robinhood Chain achieve a cumulative decentralized exchange transaction volume of US$4 billion within two weeks and incurring more than US$12 million in fees.
Summary
Noxa suspended its issuance after earning US$12 million in fees over two weeks. CASHCAT plunged more than 33% as Robinhood Chain trading volume fell. Rival launch pads are competing for activity previously controlled by Noxa.
It was previously reported that the launch pad ceased operating on July 11 after becoming the main platform for Robinhood Chain's early memin activities. Noxa has supported more than 60,000 token offerings, accounting for approximately 75% of all deployments on the network.
It was reported that during peak periods, Noxa's daily agreement fee exceeded Solana-based Pump.fun for five consecutive days. This rapid activity has pushed Robinhood Chain, launched on July 1, into one of the busiest new venues for speculative tokens.
CASHCAT became Noxa's most successful offering, with a peak market value of US$226 million. According to reports, the token attracted 267,642 independent wallets to Robinhood Chain during its initial launch.
When Noxa initially suspended new offerings on July 11, it blamed robot spam and a large number of low-quality tokens. Two days later, its website was inaccessible and the team said the failure was caused by a Cloudflare issue. Noxa did not restore its original business model and later announced that all ongoing transaction fees would fall with the token creator. The decision waived a share of future revenue for the platform, but Noxa did not elaborate on its long-term plans.
CASHCAT led the decline in selling after Noxa's exit
According to news, CASHCAT fell more than 33% in 24 hours as traders responded to Noxa's exit. Other Robinhood Chain tokens, including FOX and HOODIE, also fell after previously recording strong weekly gains due to launch pad activity.
Vlad.fun went offline a few days later, further exacerbating the uncertainty. The team said internal integrity issues led to the closure.
Cryptocurrency users reacted differently. Some social media users viewed Noxa's decision as a rejection of robot-driven token speculation, while others described the exit as a soft escape. Trader 0xAvast, who followed CASHCAT's market value from about $10,000 to $230 million, dismissed concerns surrounding the collapse as "irrelevant FUD." However, data showed that trading volume on the Robinhood Chain decentralized exchange began to decline after reaching a record high of $878 million on July 12.
"I'm not trying to spread FUD or create panic about the Robinhood chain, but I think this is the end... the Noxa scam and other things slowly killed cash-cat:native, so that's the consequence. Unfortunately, trading volume has begun to shift to other chains. People have..."--Shuarix™ (@Shuarix), July 17, 2026
Before Noxa disappeared, there were reports that Robinhood Chain had surpassed Base in Uniswap deployments to rank second. The report attributed part of the expansion to the issuance of memin and Pump.fun integration.
Loss of activity in competitor launch pad competition
Despite the decline in trading volume, Robinhood Chain's total lock-in value is reportedly still close to $200 million. Platforms including flap.sh, trensh.today and bankr have begun competing for activity previously handled by Noxa, while Pons have also entered the market. None of these platforms has reached Noxa's token issuance record, nor has it produced memocoins with CASHCAT influence.
The memin boom has also dwarfed Robinhood Chain's tokenized real-world asset space. According to reports, these assets have a market value of US$12.66 million, while CASHCAT alone had a market value of approximately 12 times its value at its peak.
Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev declared on July 8 that "Robinhood summer is here." Within a week of the post, the chain's largest launch pad had stopped accepting new token issues, leaving a competing platform to test whether Robinhood Chain could remain active without Noxa.
