Solana, Hyperliquid, SHIB, XRP: Key altcoin trends under the test of technology

Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB) continues to be under pressure and fails to achieve an effective rebound.

Shiba Inu Coin is currently trading at close to US$0.000041. It has not been able to rebound sustainably in July and is still under heavy selling pressure. Since the beginning of 2026, SHIB has continued to hit lower highs and lower lows, indicating that this popular meme coin is in a long-term downward trend.

It was difficult for SHIB to regain upward momentum

The rising channel that supported price movements from March to May was broken, causing SHIB to fall sharply. After falling below the lower edge of the channel, the token has so far failed to recover its main moving average. The 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) is above US$0.000045, while the 100-and 200-day moving averages are higher, highlighting the persistence of a bearish structure.

Trading activity has shrunk to its narrowest range in nearly a year. While low volatility may suggest market stability, the decline in trading volume suggests a general lack of willingness among buyers. The relative strength index (RSI) of the token is currently around 35, which is close to oversold territory, but a clear signal of a rebound has not yet emerged.

Analysts pointed out that bulls first need to push the SHIB above the 50-day EMA and build support above US$0.0000045. If this breakthrough cannot be achieved, any rebound may be just a flash in the pan. If the sell-off continues, the SHIB could fall towards the US$0.00004 mark, even testing the support level formed earlier this year.

Solana's medium-term trend remains stable

Despite the recent correction, Solana's technical structure remains significantly stronger than many large-cap currencies. After recovering from a low of about $60 in June, SOL climbed above $80 before entering a new consolidation phase. The token currently trades at approximately US$76, remaining above the 50-day and 100-day moving averages.

The recent decline has formed a small downward wedge pattern, a technical pattern that often signals subsequent recovery in a bullish market environment. Sellers failed to break through key support around $73 to $74, with the RSI approaching 50, reflecting the market's neutrality. If overall market sentiment improves, this neutral momentum may provide potential for a new round of gains.

The 200-day moving average (US$80 to US$81) constitutes the next major resistance level. Breaking through this zone could open a channel for prices to reach the $90 to $95 range. However, if support near $73 is lost, Solana's recovery will be weakened and may trigger prices to fall back to as low as $70.

Hyperliquid remains firm in consolidation

Despite its recent retreat from regional highs of around US$75, Hyperliquid remains one of the most resilient performing large-cap digital assets. The project, known for its decentralized perpetual contract exchange, surged from less than $30 to more than $75 earlier this year, before entering consolidation mode without a major reversal.

After falling below the US$64 to US$65 support level, where the 50-day and 100-day moving averages meet, HYPE is currently trading at around US$61. Bulls need to push prices back above the region to accelerate the recovery. The long-term trend remains positive as HYPE is well above the 200-day EMA of $57 and the 200-day moving average of $49.

There was a significant rebound as prices approached the $58 region, indicating that buyers saw the pullback as a cumulative opportunity rather than an exit signal. Trading volume also fell during the pullback, with the RSI cooling to about 42, eliminating most of the overheating sentiment accumulated in previous gains.

If momentum returns, it may test $70 after breaking through $65 and challenge the annual high. However, a renewed sell-off and falling below the US$57 - 58 support zone could cause prices to fall faster towards the key 200-day trend line.

Small Dictionary: Hyperliquid is a decentralized derivatives protocol that focuses on providing permission-free trading services for cryptocurrency perpetual contracts and runs without the need for an order book on the Ethereum network.

XRP is still at a critical turning point

XRP is trading at close to US$1.09, and the technical structure is increasingly tightening. A downward resistance line and an upward support line form a convergent triangle, and the asset is getting closer to the decisive direction choice. The current dominant trend remains biased towards bears, with all major moving averages from the 50th to the 200th being above the current price of US$1.10 to US$1.24.

Throughout July, XRP's $1.00 support stood multiple tests, and despite continued seller pressure, it did not lead to a deeper decline. If it can break through US$1.12, it may challenge the US$1.24 resistance level; if it breaks below the rising support line, it will re-expose the US$1.00 mark and pose a major blow to the recovery prospects.

The RSI is close to 46, reflecting market hesitation. As the triangular shape gradually narrows, a directional breakthrough seems to be coming; but currently neither the bulls nor the bears have shown a clear advantage.
