Pump.fun reportedly transferred 81,700 SOL pieces to Kraken, and exchange inflows have once again attracted market attention, although there has been no confirmed selling activity. Multiple Pump.fun wallets deposited SOL to a Kraken address, while SOL remained stable and PUMP gave up most of the intraday gains. SOL maintains a stable trading range, PUMP continues to fluctuate, and traders focus on exchange balances for further movements. After Pump.fun transferred millions of SOL coins to Kraken, market attention rose again, as traders simultaneously monitored exchange traffic and the very different intraday performance of SOL and PUMP tokens.
Pump.fun transfers attract market attention
It was reported that Pump.fun transferred approximately 81,700 SOL pieces to Kraken, with a total value of approximately US$6.15 million. Multiple wallet addresses transfer funds to one exchange deposit address. Transaction records show this was coordinated treasury activity rather than isolated deposits. The amount of a single transfer ranged from approximately 3,410 SOL to 26,270 SOL. The maximum amount of a single transfer is estimated to be close to US$1.98 million. Relevant tweets questioned whether there would be more sales after these transfers. Exchange deposits often attract attention because assets become available for trading. However, blockchain records alone cannot confirm whether the sale has been completed. Pump.fun generated these transfers through fee-related wallets accumulated through platform operations. Regular treasury management is common on mature blockchain platforms. Therefore, deposits alone cannot confirm that assets have immediately entered market circulation.
SOL remains stable, PUMP fluctuates violently
SOL's intra-day performance was not significantly affected by these large transfers. The asset traded at US$74.66, down slightly 0.08% during the day; it closed at US$74.66, up slightly 0.08% during the day. Buyers managed to hold on to support after weak early trading. Trading volume fell more than 18% to approximately $1.32 billion. Even so, SOL avoided aggressive selling during most of the trading session. Prices are basically maintained within a controllable consolidation range. At the same time, PUMP showed greater volatility during the same trading session. After falling nearly 2%, the token quickly soared more than 4%. This rebound reflects aggressive speculative engagement rather than gradual buying. The rally eventually weakened and sellers regained control after rising continuously. Lower highs emerged during the rest of the trading session. At the close, PUMP had given up almost all of its earlier gains.
Exchange traffic remains the main focus of the market
Coordinated deposits increase the liquidity available on the exchange for participating traders. Large exchange inflows often prompt closer monitoring of cryptocurrency markets. However, deposits should not automatically be interpreted as confirmed liquidation events. Despite renewed attention around trends in the chain, SOL still showed resilience. Buyers stayed at higher lows, while overall price volatility was relatively limited. This is in sharp contrast to PUMP's repeated fluctuations throughout the trading session. The differences between the two assets reflect different trading behaviors in the Solana ecosystem. Despite weak trading activity, SOL has attracted relatively stable positions. PUMP is mainly driven by momentum speculation and rapid emotional changes. Currently, market participants continue to focus on Kraken balances reported after transfers. Future wallet activities may provide more background information for treasury management. Before selling behavior became visible, confirmed sales remained unconfirmed despite increased market attention.
