Robinhood chain meme coin Tendies falls back after weekly surge

After a week of gains,

Tendies ($TENTIES), a memin traded on Robinhood Crypto's new blockchain, has fallen 30% in the past 24 hours, after soaring about 270% in the previous seven days. According to the news, the current market value of the token is approximately US$12 million. The pullback follows a common pattern for attention-driven tokens: a rapid rise driven by community target prices and social media popularity, followed by a rapid pullback once the buying pressure subsides.

This currency clearly belongs to the category of memes and has no actual use claimed other than as a meme, which means that its entire value is based on attention. Attention-driven gains can also fade quickly, and chart conditions already show signs of overheating before falling.

Robinhood Chain Background

Robinhood launched Robinhood Chain's public main network on July 1, 2026, launched tokenized stock trading in more than 120 countries, and launched Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product that provides USDG with an estimated annualized rate of return of approximately 7%. The network is an Arbitrum based Layer 2 solution that targets tokenized real-world assets. Despite this positioning, memein quickly became the main source of activity on the chain.

The memin craze on Robinhood Chain accelerated after CEO Vlad Tenev said the network was "very useful for memes," as well. The network, which has only been launched for a week, set a daily decentralized exchange transaction volume record of US$563.9 million on July 8. Tendies is one of the tokens that has directly benefited from this wave of attention. The community is organized around WallStreetBets slang and exclusive Discord, providing a ready-made cultural foundation for tokens, amplifying early trading interest.

Most new tokens on the chain die out within hours, so continued liquidity remains the key to distinguishing true competitors from exiting scams. Tendies still maintains a presence in the decentralized exchange market, but thin liquidity means that price fluctuations can be very sharp. Traders should carefully weigh this volatility before opening a position.
