Solana's activity soared through PumpSwap and Meteora, ranking first in DEX spot trading

Solana remains the main market for decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction volume, outperforming other blockchains and some centralized exchanges. Trading activity from Meteora and PumpSwap has injected new life into Solana over the past month. Solana accounted for the largest share of spot DEX trading volume, accounting for approximately 20% of the total. Although the network is far from reaching peak activity levels during the 2021 boom, it has maintained a stable baseline level.

Solana still holds the leading share of DEX trading volume, thanks to the joint promotion of memecoin and tokenized securities trading. Solana's top-level DEX even surpasses most centralized exchanges, including Bybit. Today, Solana is engaged in a new competition-the top five blockchains are competing for token trading volume and the tokenized securities trading market.

One of the reasons why Solana gained growth momentum was the continued inflow of stablecoins from major issuers and smaller projects. In the past day, another $300 million in USDC liquidity has been injected into the network.

Solana's Gas fees are now paid by MetaMask

The highly active spot trading on Solana is also an important venue for retail activity. For novice traders, owning SOL tokens is not a matter of course. MetaMask, one of the most widely used wallets, has announced a new Gas fee program: the wallet will pay Gas fees for exchange transactions exceeding $200.
