Dogecoin once again tests long-term support, and a key breakthrough decision is imminent.
Several technical analysts pointed out that Dogecoin is now trading again in an important long-term support area, which has been marked many times in history. Cyclical lows. After months of price declines, the memecoin is entering this region, raising questions about whether it is about to enter a new round of fundraising or faces further declines.
Dogecoin revisited historical cycle support
Cryptollica's analysis identified a rising support line that anchored Dogecoin's main cycle bottoms in 2015, 2020 and 2022. Every retest of the region is accompanied by a period of weak momentum and low market interest, which usually signals a significant recovery for the cryptocurrency later.
A 10-day chart shared by Cryptollica shows that Dogecoin still tends to form a higher cyclical bottom even if it experiences large price fluctuations between bull and bear cycles. This recurring pattern has sparked speculation that DOGE may be re-entering a funding period similar to previous periods in its price history.
Cryptollica's proprietary cycle indicator, used to measure the current stage of the dogcoin market cycle, has recently begun to recover from extremely low levels. Currently with a score of 23, analysts describe DOGE as being in a "reconstruction phase" rather than an upward expansion that has begun to be confirmed. This suggests that while selling pressure may be easing, buyers have not yet shown strong momentum.
Dogecoin's cyclical indicators show signs of initial recovery from extreme lows, putting the token in a reconstruction phase rather than suggesting a breakthrough is imminent.
Despite similarities to previous market cycles, analysts warn that historical data alone cannot confirm that a new bottom has formed. Any decisive break below this rising support line would weaken the bullish outlook and could lead to a longer decline.
Analysts are closely watching whether DOGE will continue to consolidate above this key support level. A sustained recovery based on this structure and then breaking through the current series of lower highs could be the first clear signal of a broader rebound.
Key support areas appear after a continued downward trend.
DOGE is currently trading at approximately US$0.069, which has fallen back from its 2024 high of approximately US$0.48. The token remains below a downward resistance trend line, reflecting the sellers 'control of the broader market structure.
Analyst Kamran Asghar emphasized that the support band of US$0.055 to US$0.060 stabilized Dogecoin during sharp selling in 2022 and 2023. This test of this level is seen as critical to DOGE's medium-term direction.
If the green support area continues to hold, there may be a wave of rebound. Especially when buyers are able to regain the $0.075 to $0.095 area, it will show potential power and break the sequence of lower highs.
The area has been maintained through multiple major adjustments, making this test critical to the long-term structure of Dogecoin.
However, a favorable risk-reward ratio depends on whether support remains intact. A weekly close below $0.055 could invalidate historical support and open up room for deeper declines.
Currently, dogcoin is at a critical decision-making point. Price movements in the next few weeks will determine whether this support marks the bottom of a new round of fundraising or heralds the collapse of multi-year support.
