Dogecoin ETF has zero inflows for three consecutive days, with a weekly total of US$345.13 million.
According to SoValue data, Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have zero daily net inflows for three consecutive days this week. On July 22, 23 and 24, no new funds entered the Dogecoin ETF, maintaining the stagnation that had been in for most of July.
A brief inflow breaks the deadlock
Despite the overall downturn, the Dogecoin ETF showed positive developments earlier this week. On July 21, net inflows reached US$345.13 million, temporarily breaking the zero inflow record since July 6. Prior to this brief peak, no new investment was recorded in Dogecoin ETF on all trading days in July.
Such periods of limited activity are common for smaller or newer cryptocurrency ETFs, especially ETFs that track digital assets other than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Market analysts often point to light trading and intermittent inflows as characteristics of crypto funds that focus on niche sectors or have low recognition from institutional investors.
Cumulative net inflow exceeds US$12 million
The total cumulative net inflow of Dogecoin ETF now exceeds US$12 million. As of July 24, SoValue reported that the funds 'overall net investment had reached $12.12 million. This week is also the first time since June 18 that the Dogecoin ETF recorded a positive net inflow, with a weekly net inflow of US$345.13 million.
Date Daily net inflow Cumulative net inflow
July 21 $345,130 $12,120,000
July 22 $0 $12,120,000
July 23 $0 $12,120,000
July 24 $0 $12,120,000
DOGE Price and Futures Activity
The market price of dogcoin continues to face downward pressure, consistent with the overall downward trend of the cryptocurrency sector. DOGE has fallen 0.17% in the past 24 hours, most recently at $0.07.
Open interest in DOGE futures has reached US$1.1 billion, indicating increased trading activity in the derivatives market. However, spot prices fell to their lowest level since November 2023, and some analysts believe traders may be preparing for further declines. The combination of the increase in open interest and the decline in prices is seen as a sign that some participants are trying to profit from the decline.
Technical Signals and Analyst Outlook
A much-watched technical indicator has brought optimism. Crypto analyst Ali reported that TD Sequential sent a buy signal on Dogecoin's monthly price chart. At this time, DOGE is approaching the strong support area of US$0.056.
Small Dictionary: TD Sequential is a technical analysis indicator developed by Thomas DeMark to identify market price failures and potential trend reversals.
If Dogecoin remains above US$0.056, analysts point to the possibility of a rebound. Upward targets include $0.16, with the top of the long-term channel close to $0.45 being seen as a broader target.
Crypto analyst Ali emphasized that TD Sequential has signaled potential buying opportunities for dogcoin and pointed out that the US$0.056 support level is the basis for a possible rise to US$0.16 and higher.
