Buyers of Shiba Inu Coin absorbed 2.4 trillion SHIB exchange traffic, and prices broke through key resistance levels.

Shiba Inu Coin recorded exchange inflows of nearly 2.4 trillion SHIB in 24 hours, accompanied by strong price increases and highly active trading activity. Despite large-scale transfers, on-chain data shows that buyers have absorbed most of the incoming supply, allowing SHIB to break through multiple important technology positions.

During this period, exchange wallets received approximately 2.399 trillion in SHIBs. However, at the same time, approximately 2.376 trillion SHIBs have left these platforms. As a result, net exchange inflows are only about 22.6 billion SHIB, rather than what the superficial numbers suggest.

This difference provides an important background for the rising market. The data does not portend overwhelming selling pressure, but rather reflects fierce two-way trading between buyers and sellers. As a result, SHIB rose from approximately US$0.000042 to approximately US$0.000054 and maintained its strong momentum.

In addition, the token regained its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, and then tested its 200-day moving average at around $0.000050. Throughout the rally, trading volume also increased, consolidating the trend to break through key resistance levels.

Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) climbed above 78. While this reading confirms strong bullish momentum, it also suggests that SHIB has entered overbought territory, increasing the possibility of increased short-term volatility.

Lower exchange reserves and South Korean demand boosted gains

Multiple market reports linked the rise to increased buying activity by South Korean traders. Higher trading volume on South Korean exchanges reportedly matched trading activity on some of the world's largest platforms, providing additional support for the rise of SHIB.

In addition to stronger retail participation, declining exchange reserves may also amplify price fluctuations. According to CoinMarketCap's market summary, the centralized exchange currently holds approximately 86.1 trillion in SHIB, one of the lowest reserve levels since the token was recorded.

When demand accelerates, a lower liquidity supply usually increases price sensitivity. As a result, buyers need fewer additional purchases to push SHIB above important technical resistance levels.

The market report also pointed to the recent accumulation of whales as another supporting factor. However, existing online data does not show that a single identifiable whale transferred all of the 2.4 trillion SHIB to the exchange. Instead, these inflows appear to represent a combined activity of traders, market makers, and large position holders adjusting their positions as they advance.

In addition, SHIB has benefited from higher destruction activities and renewed market focus on the Shibarium ecosystem. Even so, the number of tokens destroyed was still too small to explain the double-digit price increase alone.

On the contrary, the rise appears to be the result of a combination of factors. Lower exchange liquidity, stronger South Korean demand, whale position adjustments and short covering following technical breakthroughs have all driven this trend.

Conclusion

Although total exchange inflows were close to 2.4 trillion SHIB, almost the same number of tokens left the exchanges during the same period, leaving only a modest net inflow. Buyers successfully absorbed available supply and extended the rebound in SHIB above key resistance levels. Even so, high RSI readings suggest that traders may be wary of potential profit-taking if buying momentum starts to wane.
