Dogecoin owners draw a line between themselves and CATE tokens

Owner of Kabosu clarified: It has nothing to do with the CATE token project.

The owner of Shiba Inu Kabosu, the inspiration for dogcoin, recently stated that she has no connection with the CATE token project circulated in the cryptocurrency market. Sato pointed out that a piece of content posted on her Instagram account was used by others without permission, and based on that, she launched fake tokens, mistakenly portraying them as an image associated with these projects. She also expressed regret that some accounts on Platform X with large numbers of fans contributed to the spread of misleading information.

Own The Doge: The Only Authorized Project

Sato made it clear that Own The Doge is the only project she has officially authorized to manage Doge's image intellectual property. She called on the community to trust only the official statements she issued with the group. Own The Doge was established in 2021 after obtaining the rights to use the original Doge emoji photos, establishing a formal intellectual property foundation. The organization handles authorized projects with Sato's approval and supports animal welfare through charitable activities.

Unauthorized tokens emerge endlessly

This is not the first time Sato's image and name have been used to add credibility to unauthorized encryption projects. Kabosu was originally a Shiba Inu from Japan. It was adopted by kindergarten teacher Atsuko Sato and occupied an important position in the original Doge emoticons and DOGE cryptocurrency. The profound influence of this cultural symbol has made Sato and Doge images repeatedly the target of teams trying to launch tokens without formal authorization.

Sato's public statement directly reminded people that any project that is not supported by Own The Doge, no matter how advertised it on social media, does not represent her approval.
