Icmfun has launched what it claims to be the first Solana-based stock-backed payment agreement that allows users to use tokenized stocks directly at the point of sale through Apple Pay. The infrastructure behind the payment card is supported by Zebec_HQ, a decentralized payment network whose core is real-time, continuous settlement.
Spend stocks at point-of-sale
This payment card supports real-time settlement of 15 major stocks, including META, AAPL, NVDA and MSFT. Instead of selling stocks through traditional brokerages and waiting for funds to arrive, users can immediately convert tokenized stock positions into disposable funds at checkout. This integration bypasses the T+2 settlement cycle commonly used in traditional stock markets, a delay that has long been a friction point between a portfolio and daily consumption.
The broader context is worth paying attention to. The traditional financial track is widely seen as in urgent need of upgrading, and Solana has positioned itself as the next infrastructure layer for the capital markets 'evolution-as of May 2025,$21 billion in real-world assets have been completed on public blockchains. Tokenization has been completed, and McKinsey predicts that this figure will reach $2 trillion by 2030. The Icmfun payment card is one of the first consumer-facing products to transform this infrastructure into a practical daily payment tool.
Zebec's Role as a Settlement Layer
Zebec_HQ is a decentralized infrastructure network for real-world value flow that integrates multiple protocols and integrates a range of blockchain-based RWA payment, payroll and retail products into one interconnected infrastructure network. Its continuous settlement protocol supports real-time, sustainable flow of funds and is designed to eliminate delays and increase transparency in financial transactions. Zebec's product line already includes real-time payroll, a traditional payroll application called WageLink with built-in Web3 capabilities, payment cards, and DePIN with its own point-of-sale system. Icmfun's integration expands this infrastructure into a whole new category: stock-backed consumer payments.
This move reflects a growing trend on Solana to bring capital markets online and present them in a way that is accessible to ordinary users. The future of the Internet capital market vision is that anyone with an Internet connection can participate in tokenized stocks and on-chain economic systems with extremely low barriers and fewer intermediaries. Connecting this vision to payment cards running through Apple Pay is an important step towards realizing this future.
