XRP sticks to key support levels, and gray ETF moves highlight institutional concerns.

XRP is still above key support levels, attracting the attention of traders, who are paying close attention to signs of potential bullish reversals. The cryptocurrency is facing mixed technical indicators, and a recent move by Grayscale has further shifted the market's focus on the asset's role among institutional investors.

Technical and Price Outlook

The current trading price of XRP is US$1.04, the 24-hour trading volume is US$1.32 million, and the market value is US$65.31 billion. In the past day, prices have fallen by 1.77%. However, some analysts believe that the overall structure and growing institutional demand indicate a possible reversal in the near term.

Market analyst EGRAG CRYSTPTO pointed out that XRP is still close to the key US$1.05 support level after the symmetrical triangle broke below the pattern on the third day. This pattern was accompanied by the loss of multiple tombstone crosses and triangular supports, which triggered warnings from some traders. They stressed that buyers must hold on to this level to prevent further declines.

Technical traders note that some important resistance levels may affect short-term price movements, including $1.11,$1.21, the $1.28-$1.30 range, and $1.38. Analysts said that if the price can stabilize above the $1.50 to $1.51 range for three consecutive days, it may offset the bearish pattern and could signal the beginning of a new price trend in XRP.

If this breakthrough is not achieved, based on the current chart pattern, some forecasts believe that XRP may retest prices near $0.88.

XRP is still trading above key support levels, and market participants point out that US$1.50 is a key threshold that a decisive breakthrough may reignite bullish momentum.

Gray ETF adjusts positions, XRP becomes the focus

Data from BankXRP shows that Grayscale, one of the largest institutional asset managers in the cryptocurrency industry, has submitted Form 8-K for its CoinDesk Crypto 5 ETF (GDLC). The document marks the completion of the regular quarterly portfolio review and the fund has now entered the scheduled position adjustment stage.

The move is based on the methodology of the CoinDesk 5 Index (CD5), which ranks assets by market value and liquidity. (Note: The CoinDesk Crypto 5 Index is a benchmark index that tracks the five most liquid digital assets used to build investment portfolios and ETFs.)

As a result, XRP is currently included in the ETF along with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and BNB, and investors are waiting for updated asset weights. If XRP's allocation to funds increases, it may indicate rising interest from institutional players and highlight the token's growing influence within the industry.

Current positions of each asset in the GDLC: Bitcoin (BTC) is the largest position, Ethereum (ETH) is the important position, and Solana (SOL), BNB and XRP are all included.

Market sentiment and institutional impact

Despite positive expectations surrounding institutional demand and fund adjustments, XRP prices have been falling with the broader market. The decline in Bitcoin has intensified overall caution in the digital asset market.

XRP is at a critical turning point. The core question is whether it can hold support and return to the $1.50 level. A convincing rise in prices could trigger further bullish momentum and attract more institutional money, especially if the proportion of their holdings is adjusted upwards.

Traders are paying close attention to whether the breakout market can attract more institutional capital inflows as the reallocation of grayscale ETFs puts XRP's evolving role in cryptocurrency portfolios in the spotlight.
