Company purchased 79 bitcoins for reserves

According to its recent company filings, Strive completed the acquisition of 79 bitcoins between August 10 and August 14. The company spends an average of approximately US$63,231 per bitcoin, which includes all associated fees and transaction costs. The total investment in this purchase is approximately US$5 million.

The transaction increased Strive's Bitcoin holdings from the 20,167 recorded on August 7 to the current 20,246. At the same time, the company's cash and equivalent assets fell slightly from $154.9 million to $154.8 million. This cash balance provides Strive with considerable financial flexibility when managing its diversified asset management portfolio.

In recent months, the company has been systematically building its Bitcoin holdings through multiple acquisitions. In June, Strive purchased 759 bitcoins worth approximately $50 million. Later, as leadership pursued a strategy of combining Bitcoin holding with traditional financial activities, other smaller transactions were carried out.

ASST shares rose on news of Bitcoin holdings

ASST shares rose 2.96% during the trading session to $12.68 as investors responded to the Bitcoin purchase announcement. The uptrend began shortly after the market opened and remained positive throughout the day. Strive's growing Bitcoin reserves continue to play a central role in the company's overall corporate strategy.

During the reporting period, the number of outstanding shares of the company also increased. Class A common shares increased by 597,150 shares, bringing the total to approximately 76.24 million shares. As of August 14, approximately 86.04 million ordinary shares were outstanding.

In addition, Strive holds 505,000 shares of Strategy's variable rate series A permanent preferred shares. As of August 14, these positions were worth approximately US$47.86 million. Bitcoin and preferred securities now form an important part of Strive's overall asset base.

Semler Scientific merger strengthens Bitcoin position

Strive's bitcoin accumulation strategy gained considerable momentum after its merger with Semler Scientific. The merger introduces considerable Bitcoin configurations and deepens the company's participation in digital assets. The deal enhances Strive's position among listed companies with large reserves of Bitcoin.

The merged entity then used Bitcoin holdings as a key indicator of company value. When assessing financial efficiency, Strive monitors the relationship between Bitcoin holdings and outstanding shares. However, even if the absolute number of bitcoins grows, new equity issues may affect this indicator.

Strive continues to operate its asset management business while expanding its Bitcoin reserves. The company manages approximately $3 billion in assets and holds large amounts of cash. This latest acquisition shows that Bitcoin will remain a core component of its balance sheet strategy throughout 2026.
