The cryptocurrency market generally fell on July 17, with most mainstream digital assets falling.

According to CoinMarketCap data, as of 10:30 am Korean Standard Time on July 17, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.28% to US$63,808.22; Ethereum (ETH) fell 3.12% to US$1,859.08. Ripple (XRP) fell 1.75% to $1.09, while Solana (SOL) fell 2.06% to $75.37. TRX fell slightly 0.47% to US$0.3227; DOGE fell 1.96% to US$0.07246. Avalanche (AVAX) fell 2.76% to $6.50; World Free Finance (WLFI) rose 0.43% to $0.05762. The World Currency (WLD) plunged 4.67% to US$0.3884.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, Cronos (CRO) had the largest increase in 24 hours, up 9.59%; while Lighter (LIT) had the largest decline, down 8.14%.

Other noteworthy alternative currencies include: Quai Network (QUAI) surged 12.92% to $0.01952;Aleo (ALEO) fell 0.94% to $0.01856.

In the past 24 hours, CoinMarketCap has added a new cryptocurrency: Dollar Payment Tokens (USDPT).
