South Korea's Bitcoin market now reverses kimchi premium
On July 21, Bitcoin recorded a reverse kimchi premium of-1.33% in the South Korean market. As of 0:00 a.m. Korean Standard Time on July 21, the trading price of Bitcoin on the Upbit Exchange in South Korea was 94.63 million won, down 0.46% from the previous trading day. On the Global Binance Exchange, the price of Bitcoin is 95.91 million won, and there is a negative price difference of 1.28 million won between the two, corresponding to a reverse kimchi premium of-1.33%.
The reverse kimchi premium for the mainstream altcoin Ethereum is-1.37%. Other major altcoins also trade at prices lower than the global market, with Solana at-1.42%, XRP at-1.33%, Dogecoin at-0.81% and Sui at-1.43%. At present, the reverse kimchi premium of most mainstream altcoins is concentrated in the range of-0.8% to-1.4%.
