Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Priego is one of the loudest voices in support of Bitcoin (BTC). In fact, he revealed that he had allocated 80% of his liquid assets to the cryptocurrency.

On July 15, when his identity as an anchor investor in ORANGE JUICE HOLDINGS was disclosed, he further strengthened his belief in this leading cryptocurrency. This is a Connecticut-based permanent capital company that is building a Bitcoin treasury business.

The company announced a $40 million financing to launch a permanent capital company to acquire and permanently hold U.S. companies while implementing a Bitcoin treasury strategy. ORANGE JUICE said cash flow generated by companies will be reinvested in acquisitions or Bitcoin treasuries.

Salinas expressed his support and commented: "ORANGE JUICE is built on two pillars-the cash flow enterprise and the Bitcoin treasury. That's why I support this team."

The billionaire said on July 22 that in just a week after the completion of the US$40 million financing he led,"hundreds" of potential investors, business owners and operators have proactively contacted. "The world longs for an alternative to traditional private equity: solid capital based on solid money, rather than government-controlled fiat currency junk."

As a strong critic of fiat currencies, Salinas praises Bitcoin as the ultimate hedging tool against currency devaluation. Fiat coins can be printed indefinitely and may depreciate; while bitcoin has a limited supply of only 21 million coins, supporters such as Salinas believe that it can retain its value.

As of this writing, Bitcoin is trading at US$64,823.
