XRP XRP Giant Whale increased its holdings by US$2.2 billion in 96 hours, and its price exceeded key resistance.
In the past week, activity among major holders of XRP has increased sharply. Data shows that large investors acquired approximately 1.54 billion XRPs, worth approximately US$2.2 billion, in just 96 hours.
Whale trading hits monthly high
In this latest round of rally, Sanitation recorded 1,917 single XRP transactions of at least $100,000, marking the largest whale level capital flow in about a month. Although such high-value transfers do not always directly represent buying behavior-as they may also reflect internal transfers or sales-they have drawn attention to the strengthening of positions by large holders in the current environment.
The accumulation of key stakeholders seems to support the price trend of XRP. XRP continues to climb after bottoming out of around $1.28 and is currently trading between $1.60 and $1.62.
Technical Breakthrough Key Benchmarks
From a technical perspective, XRP has decisively broken through the downward resistance line that has been affecting the chart since its high at the end of August. In addition, the cryptocurrency is traded above all major moving averages, highlighting the importance of recent breakthroughs. The short-term moving average has risen to $1.40, while the 200-day moving average is at $1.36, leaving current prices significantly above previous consolidation levels.
In addition to whale activity, the network is also expanding. During the rebound, XRP ledgers created 3,647 new wallets. As of September 22, net inflows into XRP ETFs reached US$1.73 billion, highlighting the increase in institutional participation in XRP.
