LinkersMap empowers the Interlink Mainnet to drive real-world business

From testnet to mainnet: launch of a commercial layer

LinkersMap has officially graduated from testnet and deployed on the InterLink main net, becoming the first decentralized application to be launched on the InterLink network. This move marks a concrete step towards connecting verified commercial entities to the on-chain economy, where merchants can now register physical stores directly on the chain and use $ITL tokens to settle transactions.

The platform serves as a global marketplace where users can discover merchants, browse products, and pay using digital assets. Participating merchants will receive a payment channel based on the InterLink chain to process transactions, and each purchase will generate on-chain activity related to real commercial use rather than speculation.

According to the InterLink white paper, the underlying chain is described as "a decentralized blockchain network built for humans, anchoring identity, reputation, and economic coordination." LinkersMap is built directly on top of this infrastructure, providing the network's first real-time proof of commercial usefulness.

Early progress and the role of $ITL

In its first two weeks of operation, LinkersMap attracted 700 registered merchants, attracted more than 79,000 visitors, and generated more than 376,000 page views. Such early performance is quite eye-catching for any new platform, especially one built on blockchain that is still in the early stages of deployment.

The $ITL token plays a central role in this business layer. According to InterLink's dual token model,$ITL is an external payment token designed specifically for shopping, services and merchant settlement, while $ITLG serves as an internal participation and governance token. By routing real transactions to $ITL, LinkersMap gives the token practical consumption uses beyond wallet transfers and gas fees.

The platform also introduces LMP tokens, a fixed-supply utility asset used with $ITL and built on the InterLink network specifically to support business activities in the LinkersMap market environment. A complete white paper covering LMP parameters is expected to be released later.

Long-term success will depend on merchant engagement, user growth and continued execution. InterLink's broader payment infrastructure goal is to deploy 10,000 payment points globally, but this is still a goal rather than a completed milestone.
