Ethereum's CVD on Coin hit a three-month high, showing strong buyer demand
Ethereum's cumulative trading volume Delta (CVD) on Coin has soared to approximately 64,700, reaching a three-month high. ETH is currently stable at around $1,900, but the significant rise in CVD has attracted the attention of market analysts.
Binance order flow shows real demand
CVD This market indicator tracks the difference between active buy and active sell orders on exchanges, and is often used by traders to assess the strength of demand. When CVD rises simultaneously when prices are stable or rising, it is usually interpreted as real buying interest rather than weak liquidity driving prices up.
In the currency, the indicator has reached a level not seen in the past three months. CryptoQuant analyst Arab Chain pointed out the development, although the news initially circulated mainly within trading circles. ETH prices themselves hover around $1,900, making the surge in CVD a more important signal than the mere price level.
The 30-day correlation between Ethereum spot prices and CVD is currently close to 0.87, indicating a high degree of synchronization between prices and buyer volume over the past month. This strong correlation is relatively rare over a long period of time, suggesting that recent buying activity in currency deposits reflects real market demand paid through market orders.
Traditional trading institutions regard the simultaneous rise in prices with CVD as a confirmation signal, believing that this proves that the rise is supported by substantial buying rather than speculative positions.

Institutional interest and market signals
CryptoQuant's latest data showed that Binance experienced a $1.2 billion surge in ETH buying within an hour after U.S. consumer price index (CPI) data fell below expectations last week, further highlighting buyers 'active participation in the market.
In addition to the transaction level, institutional interest in Ethereum continues to expand. Last week, former members of the Ethereum Foundation formed a new company aimed at providing banks and asset management companies with confidential transaction infrastructure on the Ethereum network. This move reflects institutions 'increasing efforts to directly access the Ethereum base layer.
Small Dictionary
Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) is a technical indicator that expresses the difference between the total number of orders bought and the total number of orders sold in the market during a selected time period. A rise in CVD usually means that active buyers outstrip sellers, which could push prices up.
Diversion Signals and Warnings
Analysts at CryptoQuant point to a key risk that may be ignored by the market: If ETH prices continue to rise and CVD starts to fall, this could be a bearish divergence signal. Historically, such divergences have often preceded, rather than followed, short-term corrections.
Despite the recent surge in indicators, more sustained performance is still needed to confirm long-term trends. Analysts caution that a single positive reading or a brief rebound does not necessarily guarantee subsequent strength. Recent charts show buyers are active, but it remains uncertain whether this momentum will continue.
Market data shows that although buyers have stepped in strongly, it remains to be seen whether this demand will support Ethereum's upward trend in the coming weeks.
