Bitget joins hands with Siebly to simplify cryptocurrency trading API development

Bitget integrates Siebly SDK to lower the threshold for cryptocurrency application development.

Bitget has integrated the Siebly.io software development kit (SDK), covering two API systems and a variety of trading products, aiming to reduce the amount of work required to build cryptocurrency applications.

Summary

Bitget has added Siebly SDK to its V3 unified accounts and V2 classic APIs. Developers can build spot, futures, documentary and market data applications with less integration work. The partnership supports Bitget's strategy of connecting cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks and real U.S. stocks.

According to Bitget, the developer platform now provides SDKs for its V3 Unified Trading Account API and V2 Classic API. The software allows JavaScript and TypeScript developers to directly use spot trading, futures, documentary trading, real-time market data and private account functions.

This integration is mainly for teams building trading robots, automated strategies and market data applications. Bitget explained that the SDK eliminates the need to create each exchange connection from scratch, a process that often consumes development time and introduces technical errors.

Developers can also use Bitget's WebSocket API through this toolkit. Unlike repeated HTTP requests, WebSocket maintains an active connection between applications and exchanges, allowing market updates and responses to be transmitted with lower network overhead.

According to the exchange, security options include HMAC, RSA and Ed25519 authentication. These methods allow developers to choose how to verify requests from their apps when accessing trading accounts or other protected Bitget infrastructure.

Siebly SDK simplifies integration efforts

Siebly designed the Bitget toolkit around the common development architecture of the exchanges it supports. According to both parties, this format makes it easier for software teams to migrate projects between different trading venues without having to rebuild every part of the integration.

Tiago Siebler, lead developer of Siebly.io, said: "Developers building automated trading systems need a consistent, secure SDK that has been tested in the production environment. By partnering with Bitget, we make it easier for developers to integrate with one of the industry-leading trading ecosystems."

Automated trading systems rely on APIs to obtain prices, place orders, and monitor account activity without the need for continuous manual input. Bitget and Siebly position pre-built libraries as a way to simplify these connections while retaining access to public data streams and private transaction functions.

V3 integration also supports Bitget's Unified Exchange (UEX) strategy, which puts multiple asset classes and trading products on the same platform. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen ties the SDK partnership to the exchange's efforts to provide services to traders and the developers who build tools for them.

Chen said: "UEX aims to provide a better trading experience for users and developers around the world, no matter what asset they trade. Working with Siebly makes it easier to build reliable tools on Bitget's unified account architecture, helping traders reduce integration time and devote more energy to building strategies on Bitget."

Bitget connects cryptocurrency and stock products

In early July this year, Bitget launched a cross-asset unified account that places cryptocurrency and tokenized U.S. stocks in the same margin system. Bitget said the structure supports more than 370 eligible assets, including 100 tokenized U.S. stocks called rTokens.

According to Bitget's announcement, under this account model, customers can hold qualified stock tokens and use them as collateral for futures or margin transactions. The exchange also allows backed rTokens pledges to be used as collateral for stablecoin loans, allowing users to obtain funds without first selling positions.

Siebly integration gives developers another way to access the account architecture behind these services. Although Bitget has not disclosed the release date of apps built using the new SDK, the supported features already cover a wide range of products already available on the exchange.

Bitget also launched Stock+, a product in its Stocks 2.0 product portfolio that allows eligible customers to purchase real U.S. stocks in cryptocurrency. According to the exchange, deposited digital assets are converted into Circle's USDC stablecoins before stock purchases are processed.

Bitget said that unlike synthetic equity products or derivatives, Stock+ allows customers to gain ownership of underlying stocks through regulated brokers. Eligible holders can receive cash dividends and stock split adjustments, and orders follow U.S. pre-market, regular trading and after-hours schedules.

The exchange tested this combined product model through a global trading competition in June. Bitget's two-month UEX Futures League reportedly offers a bonus of 240,000 USDT, allowing participants to trade cryptocurrency futures and traditional market CFDs using one account.

Bitget divides the competition into two rounds, one round per month, with a prize of 120,000 USDT per round. The cryptocurrency futures phase lasts from June 1 to June 30, and the CFD phase is scheduled to run from July 1 to July 31. Team rankings are determined based on return on investment.

According to the exchange, the top eight teams at each stage will advance to the invite-only UEX Global Alpha Championship. Bitget plans to bring 16 teams to an undisclosed location, where the top three traders in each group will participate in the live trading session.

Taken together, Bitget's announcement places the launch of Siebly SDK in an existing product extension that covers automated cryptocurrency systems, unified collateral, tokenized stocks and direct stock ownership. The most immediate change for developers is the access to standardized tools to connect apps with these transaction and account functions.
