Ripple's strategic investment compliance chain service provider Notabene
As news of investment and cooperation in the cryptocurrency market continues to emerge, Ripple (XRP), an important market participant, has also announced the latest developments. It is reported that Ripple has made a strategic investment in Notabene, an online trading service provider focusing on compliance.
The investment amount was not disclosed, and RLUSD will be integrated into the Notabene platform.
Notabene is an online trading service provider with compliance as its core. It said in an official statement that it has received strategic investment from Ripple, but did not disclose the specific investment amount. "Notabene has received strategic investment from Ripple," the statement stated. The two parties will cooperate to integrate RLUSD into the Notabene Flow platform and explore how to supplement the Ripple Payments service with trusted payment authorization, thereby expanding the application scenarios of institutional-level stablecoin payments.
According to the announcement, Ripple's dollar-backed stablecoin RLUSD will be integrated into Notabene's institutional payment platform Notabene Flow. At the same time, the two parties also plan to combine Ripple Payments infrastructure with Notabene's transaction verification and payment authorization technology to help financial institutions complete regulated stablecoin transfers more securely and efficiently.
Notabene's network covers more than 2300 financial institutions
Currently, Notabene operates an open network connecting more than 2300 financial institutions in more than 100 jurisdictions, with annual online transaction processing volume exceeding US$2 trillion. The two companies also plan to jointly promote the widespread use of RLUSD.
Ripple executives: stablecoins are becoming part of mainstream financial infrastructure
Jack McDonald, senior vice president of Ripple's stablecoin business, said of the investment: "Stabillecoins are rapidly becoming part of the mainstream financial infrastructure, but institutional applications rely more than just on efficient payment systems. Before value is transferred, trusted identity verification, compliance review, and transaction authorization are all necessary. Notabene's network solves a key obstacle to agency adoption, and we are working together to build compliance infrastructure to help organizations achieve global value transfer and expand RLUSD use scenarios."
Notabene CEO: Financial institutions have shifted from "whether to use stablecoins" to "how to use them safely and in compliance"
Notabene CEO Pelle Braendgaard pointed out that financial institutions are no longer obsessed with the question of "whether to use stablecoins" and the real challenge lies in how to use them safely and in compliance. He believes that the combination of Ripple's global payment network and Notabene's trust infrastructure will accelerate the widespread adoption of enterprise-level stablecoin payments.
